My bike got stolen last week and I was able to track it and retrieve the bike back thanks to Monimoto!

The minimoto system is a great idea and the hardware is great. But the app is terrible, it’s interface is clunky and half the features don’t work. You can’t sleep the alarm for a specific time, it always chooses 5 hours?!, never alarms you if the key fob battery is dead, doesn’t let you tell it that it’s a false alarm. Just really annoying to use!

The apps functionality is simple to use and the customer service is second to none. I had the pleasure of dealing with Liuka when I had an issue and they responded extremely fast and were a great help with what I needed.

Hi there the tracker is great …. Onky thing id like to have is option to view tracker location when it updates daily on the event list and request location of tracker to view on a map , i inderstand the power consumption but if it was a request onky tbing and view the signal sent not jusy armed and ready message will be good… thanks moni moto:)

Sleep button doesn’t work any more so can’t turn off alarm/alerts. Kind of renders this vey expensive tracker useless. Gg lads

I really have to write how impressed I am with Monimoto. Firstly the device works great and I love the fact that especially at night if that bike moves I know straight away but I’m writing this really due to the best customer service I have ever had. I had a problem which was totally my undoing and to say the customer support was amazing doesn’t do it justice. They replied to me immediately and were so helpful and generous that I am completely blown away. Best company I have ever dealt with...11 out of 10. Many thanks simon.

Having lost my previous Vespa to theft, wanted an effective tracker that didn’t cost the world (previously used a tracker.co.uk and while it worked well, when bike was written off that setup requires new expensive tracker along with high fees). This one is a simple setup, enable it, and put the tracker tube somewhere discrete. It took me a while to understand how it works and test all was well (docs are good, but still a few ambiguous bits). Hopefully new bike won’t need to use it, remains to be seen. The daily “all ok” notification is great. As the tube is in an awkward place, I hope battery will last a year (it’s supposed to), and I wish app reported a percentage to reassure (like my heating system sensors do) - so knocked a star for that. Support is excellent. Overall, recommended.

Monimoto have commoditised trackers almost perfectly. I just wish the device also included a vibration alert.l (wish list at the end). - I love the reassurance of the daily alert to tell you it’s up and running. - Battery life is incredible, 10 mints now and it’s still at 100% - Self contained, easy to hide even on a motorbike. - App is slick and well designed - It calls you rate her than just an SMS like other trackers, although it doesn’t alert through the app that I’ve seen. - You can use your own SIM. - Data use is tiny. - Support through the app is a great bonus - It uses a fob so you don’t have to enable/disable it. Wish list... - I wish the app had an alert too that could scream at you even if your phone is on silent, it’s possible to miss a call. - Vibraton alert would allow you to be more protective to theft, rather than waiting for it to be ‘too late’ when a thief has your bike on the move. - Battery monitor simply reports “ok” would be nice to know percentage. - Chargeable batteries would be great, I seem to remember you need to go buy replacements, but perhaps that would be to the detriment of battery life which I wouldn’t want.

It’s small portable and just works. I bought this for my motorcycle but soon realised it would track anything. It has no wiring and is self powered using a small battery. This tracker now lives in my banjo case so I will have to purchase another one for my motorcycle.
