Terribles cambios
Por qué quitaron las opciones de compresión y ecualización previas, así como la intensidad de ingreso del audio. Terrible!

Great
This microphone is extremely hard to use and will not connect to my phone at all. The app that comes with it is garbage too. I will never buy another Shure product.
So easy to use and it sounds like a thousand dollar microphone
Hi, I love the mic but my app stopped working as far as the settings mode. It works with all daws, records internally but I have no access to setting anymore, otherwise perfect.
Update as of April 2024: IOS Updated to 17.4.1 & MOTIV app updated & firmware too. Light turns green when connected to IPhone but app does not register mic when using the microUSB to lightning cable that came w the kit. With an adapter, it does register mic with USB To microUSB cord. The sound is clearly better with this connection. Did you guys give me a faulty MicroUSB to lightning cord??? The whole point of is the portability and ease of use. Now I have to use an adapter to actually make it work like it is supposed to. The kit isn’t cheap so I’m pretty disappointed. **** In response to the developer’s feedback: I contacted support through the MOTIV Audio App & we’ve been troubleshooting all week. I doubt it is a connection issue bc you can tell the difference in sound quality when I record with the mic attached and unattached EVEN if neither app recognize the MV88+. We’ve deleted and downloaded both apps again, and adjusted permission settings but no dice. For the time being, I can set the parameters for the mic on the desktop app but the whole point of this line of mics is to be portable and easily adjustable with our mobile phones. It would be nice to be away from my desktop and still use the mobile app to adjust settings as needed. ****** Hi, I updated my iPhone 12 Pro to the latest iOS (15.3.1) in hopes that it would make the app functional again. But it doesn’t do what it used to, which is register my Shure MV88+, allow me to choose a setting, then record. Now it shows “built-in” as my mic and says the presets are just an example of possible settings but doesn’t actually impact recording, which is the opposite of what I want it to do. Any troubleshooting tips? Thanks!
So far so good
I just purchased the microphones and began experimenting with the app and my first reaction was, Wow! This is remarkable and extremely useful. Very easy to start working. One thing that was disheartening is that there isn’t currently and option differentiate mic GAIN vs mic VOLUME. Once my ideal gain is set, you would think you would also have a separate option to now control the volume of the mic, but sadly it is all in one. The reason that this is a problem is, I can’t increase the volume of the microphone without also increasing the volume of ambient surroundings, which obviously is not the goal in mind. I’d love to see gain and volume levels being independent. Now here’s what could simply take this app to the next level. Granted I do work in an audio production environment, however, if there was a gate, more customizable compressor. Man it would be game changing. If nothing else the gate. I know there is a noise reduction option, but having a gate function could really let you tune in everything all in the app without having to worry about post production.
So, you can’t use the Books app and control recording at the same time. Also, this app doesn’t support all settings and features of MV7+
This recent update changed the user interface and now the recording level toggle doesn’t show up unless you make an extra click on the small bars on the right, but the biggest complaint is that when the level toggle shows up it partially blocks the waveform so you can’t fully see what you’re doing (there is plenty of blank space for it to display right below the waveform). Also this update no longer includes a numerical level indicator below the waveform so you can no longer see if your levels are at 0db or -3db, etc. Please fix these two issues!
