Mural - Visual Collaboration

I use my iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard, a lot, just as Apple intended me to. Works great on most applications … but not Mural… trackpad panning with two fingers doesn’t work, nor does pinch to zoom on the trackpad. I *can* use my fingers but that’s not how I use the iPad in keyboard mode.

Installed the app to make a quick change to an existing board and gave up, bad at such a basic level - doesn’t even warrant one star!

The top bar takes up more than half my screen on iPhone, making it unusable on that platform. On the other hand, I’ve had a pretty good experience with the iPad app and Apple Pencil. YMMV

If you usually use google or apple to log in, it doesn’t work via the app

No functionality. Keep having to sign in. Rubbish. Avoid until fixed as the Mural website has a lot of potenial

I’m big fan of Mural but they have done poor job developing this mobile app since it can’t do a thing!!! So i could only use the web version on my tiny browser which isn’t best experience nonetheless far better than what this app supports! The app cannot edit text, can’t add shapes etc. the only thing that’s capable of is adding sticky notes to existing murals!!! I will uninstall this as its only taking space and has no use!!! The web developers did a great job but not so the mobile app devs

I am a regular user of the desktop browser version for teaching classes online, and I’ve organised everything into rooms and a folder for each class instance. Folders just aren’t shown in the iOS / MacOS versions meaning each room is flooded with too many murals, often called the same thing as each other. I can’t see the activity log on the mural to see if students are active doing pre-reads etc. And worst of all, I can’t use the full features browser version on my iPad or iPhone - mural automatically makes me use the app even though it misses so many of the features I find essential. The app is very frustrating when I love mural itself.

Just get a blank page saying internal server error. Since this is forced on us (attempts to open on web redirect to this app), this is a fundamental fail. Middle of a group workshop, so we will have to move everyone to another (competitor) product.

In looking around at features I went into the detect a wall option. But I had not given access to my camera and didn’t want to use that option anyway once I’d understood it. I was not able to get out of that option and presented with a constant message telling me there was an error etc..couldn’t click on the x to get back. So I’m stuck and won’t be using it.

Unless because it crashes every time
