The whole concept of this app is to upsell you some some BMW useless features that you should already have by default with your car.

Remote camera view
Crashes on attempt to get remote view.

Remote heater timer does not work 75% of time, same for locking/unlocking the diors. you have no information if the heating/cooling is activated or not, or how cold it is inside the car. You can’t start the engine from the app. Learn from volvo

none of the remote control functions, after the update doesn’t work.
Bad work!
After updating the app My BMW , the program stopped responding to a change in the location of the car. The application constantly shows yesterday's (past) location of the car. Today the car is in a different location, but the app shows false information.
