Time issue where it periodically changed the date and time to some random year. So in the afternoon it thinks it is the middle of the night.

I have plenty of apps for all my aquarium gadgets and toys, and AIs is genuinely the worst. It’s a “connection timed out” and quick scramble to close the app to retry simulator. I spend more time trying to get into my settings than actually configuring anything.

Improvements to the App have been made. Mine connects easily and consistently to my prime 16HD. The acclimation mode had been updated so it is way better and you don’t need to deal with percent reduction. My wish would be to have it be able to program a weekend & week as separate schedules so I can have it really blue during the day during the week but when I am home on the weekend have a little more white to view better.

Connection constantly times out yet my Kessil AP700 over the tank RIGHT BESIDE the AI Prime, ALWAYS connects! Everything is up to date - it’s not my connection, it’s the app. I’m never buying an AI light again. This is the second Prime I’ve had, and exactly the same thing happened with my first one. Enough.

When I go to acclimate my corals to the setting I designed the app freezes me shuts down. Considering the lights cost me $800 each you would think this app would be bug tested. I now have to manually change my lights every time I add a new tank mate. Very disappointed.

I just installed the app on my iOS tablet I’m following some good YouTube videos on scheduling including effects like lunar moon I’m missing that icon and also the + I have the - Do I have the right version or app Thank you

Only Bluetooth compatible, other markets are offering wifi and these guys are back in 2013 for products. Probably will be looking for more user/ wifi comparable products till this improves.

After setting up my schedule in this app I can no longer use the live demo feature. Hard to show off my light to family. Nor can I use the physical button on my prime freshwater 16 light. Update: after completely deleting my first schedule and recreating it, live demo, timer, feed modes now work as expected. Upgrading my review to 4 stars

This app works to control the lights but really needs some work. AI needs to hire somebody who understands the user experience. As somebody who just got their lights yesterday this app needs a lot of work to be user friendly. Very frustrated customer right now.
