myMail: email app for Gmail

I tried to make an email and i put in everything, my first and last name, the email itself and then it told me to put in my phone number. i did it and it kept telling me to check if the field was correctly filled in and it was? i put my full phone number in and it kept telling me to check it. definitely deleting this off my phone

For whatever reason, for the first time in years the app asked me to verify via mobile number. No access to old number means no way of verifying/restoring my account even after communication with customer services. Simply ridiculous not to have this function. Their response is to post a link to show me how the app works - it doesn’t have any backup recovery options as confirmed by customer support, so you ignore the idle attempt to make it look as though I’m wrong!

I’ve just switched over phones and now I can’t sign into my mail account on my new phone, it keeps saying to many attempts try later

Despite the listing saying that it works in any imap email account, when I tried it I gat a message saying that it wasn’t possible.

Do not set up any important accounts or logins using your myMail email address, because at some point you will lose access to it and be unable to login. The text messages they supposedly send to verify your phone never arrive, and there is no way to contact the developers or regain access. The FAQ answers do not give any solution to this problem. This is just a sophisticated scam. Do not use.

I used to use this app all the time years back (about 4-5) but despite the updates, I can’t login anymore and haven’t been able to for years which is a shame to have all my emails in one convenient place… Only kept the app for aesthetic appeal but have now since uninstalled as it wasn’t helpful at all… Avoid at all costs people.

I’m having trouble accessing my account I put my phone number in to receive a verification code then you don’t send one ?

It went from a very good mail app to the worst mail with each update. A perfect lesson in if it’s not broken don’t fix it. Lost me as a user in 2023 after using them since 2015. Very bad.

Been trying to login since last day or so, been completely logged out of email, unfortunately unacceptable. Please help.
