App doesn’t work. I can’t connect to the vac.
This app stinks - one minute it recognizes my account, then the next it doesn’t. Tried to creat a new routine by selecting the plus sign, then after entry and trying to save, it says the routine does not exist - of course it doesn’t exist, I don’t was in process of creating a new routine. And good luck with asking for help within the app - 24/7 service does not mean 24/7; not even the answer bot is available. So I have a useless but $$$ Neato vacuum now.
Give it away to someone that may need a manual vacuum cleaner
I love my Neato so much! I use it for my room everyday to make sure my room is clean. I haven’t had any major issues with it but the only issue is that it can’t find its charging base which is fine. Other than that problem I think my Neato is amazing!
Have two D9 units. These do not connect to WiFi network. Have sent support request for 3 successive days with no response. Terrible customer service. I’ve had units for 3 years, but these replacements are absolutely horrible. Would not purchase again.
App no longer connects to online servers making it useless.
To bad, best carpet cleaning robot we have tried. Our 10 works great for awhile, like our 7 then the brain goes off and it chases it tell in a circle every time it gets to a corner. We have owned 3 and only our oldest 7 is still working. Ugh
So there is no customer service to help and the app won’t connect to the vacuum. Brand new D9. So disappointing because previous version was wonderful. My router recognizes and shows the vacuum connected and the vacuum says connection verified but the app won’t recognize it and move on to the next step in setup. Vacuum won’t work without app! So what to do but return it? Ridiculous and frustrating!
I’ve been trying for days to get through to support via the in-app chat. The AI bot tells me no one is home. No one gets back to you. Reading the support page online, it looks like the botvac can’t use a WiFi password with special characters… why? Why do you want me to make my password less secure when the old app and old vacuum did just fine? My old Neato works great, but so far this version is an expensive waste of time.
There’s no one you can call or text. The only way of communication with tech support is email. They simply ignore new tickets and never reply after initial email with useless troubleshooting steps. After several weeks of waiting for tech support to come up with the solution, they simply stated that they know about the connecting issue and there is no ETA on the fix. As of right now, I am not able to return or use my brand new D8. Choose a different brand. Do not buy neato.
