MyTeaPal: Tea Timer & Journal

There are so many things I love about this - a way to catalogue my teas, save comments, and probably my favourite thing: the tea randomizer for when I’m feeling indecisive. My only request is that they add some options for tea types - rooibos and mate. Other than that, fantastic!

This app is the best tea app out available as it is not only complete in the total amount of details you can log. But also, what I appreciate maybe even more is that it is simple and not too colored and distracting so it keeps your mind focused on the important matter, tea. I also love the fact that it is ad free because I would never even have bothered doing a 5 star review. Keep it ad free and pure, keep the five stars!

This is an amazing app! I love being able to log my tea tasting notes, how it changed by infusion and see what other tea-lovers are drinking! There are two (small) features missing though. 1. App doesn’t work with iPhone mirroring on macOS Sequoia and iOS 18 2. The app design looks like it was copied from android and not well designed for Apple devices

I have been a tea nerd for several years now and have crafted a few tasting journals to keep notes in. Only recently has this app been shared with me. Can be overwhelming at first to get into but once you get a few things set up it’s a great tool for keeping track of tastings as well as seeing what others are trying.

Nice way to organize teas, vendors, teaware, and tracking brews. The only knock I have is the inability to edit the log date (for those times when you’re logging a tea brew the next day)

Absolutely love this app. It’s great with logging teas, brews, notes, etc. It helps me keep track of everything in my collection and I can always look back on things. They fixed my only complaint, so I gave it a 5/5 🙂

Best tea app

Truly shocked by the good reviews. It’s been a long time since an app has been so unusable for me. Every time I tried to sign in it would freeze and I would have to reopen several times. Eventually I succeeded in making an account. But then searching for a tea was impossible as there were no results for even the simplest searches. Realized eventually that it defaults to filtering results to teas you have reviewed before…even if it’s a brand new account. So I remove the filter. My tea doesn’t show up, so I’m encouraged to add it to the database. I try to do so…only to encounter the same freezing as when I tried making an account. Deleted the app after less than fifteen minutes of attempted use.

I can’t make a post without it freezing and crashing on me. Because I can’t use it as intended, it gets a 1 star. I really hope the developer will update this app but seems like it’s been a year.
