Easy interface Good application

I’ve been with Namecheap for a long time we’re talking a couple decades. I’ve had some big snags, having purchased possibly over 10,000 domains but they’ve always walked me through it and the truth is the platform is one of the easiest to snag a domain fast.

*EDIT 4/23/2025: can confirm this app is still completely useless. Don’t be fooled by those glowing 5-star reviews that show on the store page… lol they honestly couldn’t be further from the truth given just how awful this app is. It’s almost impressive just how nonfunctional it is, especially compared to a simple PWA… Namecheap clearly only cares about it ticking that “we have a mobile iOS app” box for marketing. I use Namecheap as they’re a great registrar & decided to check out their mobile app to have the option to manage things on the go—didn’t take long to realize that wasn’t going to happen when the app login doesn’t function at all. I don’t know exactly what the problem is but I suspect they need to iron out issues with their 2FA functionality; would be nice if they’d just get with the times by ditching their proprietary app and add support for 2FA via Duo/Authy/Google Authenticator/etc. Anyway, the app looked promising but is altogether useless in its current form—save yourself some time and wait until they hopefully/maybe revamp this sad excuse for an app.

Can no longer login and no help support available. I have deleted and reinstalled and use two-factor authentication. Screen frozen as solid orange saying “Loading …”

I have this app and every time i get to use it, it never works. I'm logged in but my domains never show up. Tried deleting and reinstalling and always the same thing. Might work once after reinstalling but next time it's broken again

I’m convinced that all these apps that have these amazing reviews are fake reviews somehow I don’t know how they’re doing it but they must be fake because this app has almost 0 functionality. It doesn’t show my domains most of the time when I login and it’s just the most basic Feature lacking app on my iPhone. The company is great, but their app is worthless so how are the amazing reviews? That’s my question.

No standards at all between payments in app and via web. Also no transparency between the app and webportal. Horrible tech support that will waste your time. Can only pay with apple pay in app. If the domain expired and it’s the grace period you must renew via web but the accepted payments don’t include apple pay on the web. App is nearly useless.
