The inability to stop NBC News Now from running when you open this app and stopping any other audio you have going has ruined this app for me. It makes it essentially unusable as I cannot open it and read the news while listening to music because it stops the music and autoplays NBC News Now and there is absolutely no way to turn this off. Please make it stop.

Avid user for quite some time. However, one of the recent updates enabled auto play of NBC News Now videos plus automatic background audio when minimized. The problem with this is, if you minimize the app and don't notice the audio is playing in the background it will continue to stream and drain your battery. I have noticed the app doing this on both my iPhone 15 Pro and my iPad M4 Pro. The app should provide a visual indication and ask if I want to continue to stream the audio when minimizing. And there needs to be an option to completely disable this functionality. Please fix asap!

Since they have updated the app, it now plays videos continuously in the background on its own which is very disturbing in a quiet room and a drain on my battery. After many years I finally had to delete the app

Difficult to use. Completely stupid interface. Every time I read an article and press the back button, the article list jumps halfway down the page so I can't continue from where I left off. Totally incompetent software developers. Fire them all and hire a dozen monkeys. I'm confident they would do a better job.

I do not appreciate clicking a push notification from this app and having it take me to the story in the Safari browser instead just so you can get tracking cookies onto my iPad. I clear all history and trackers immediately after anyway but this irritates me regardless and there is no excuse for it

I have watched MSNBC as my go to morning news for years! That stops now! Morning Joe and His wife, are not trustworthy or believable! Hypocrisy at the lowest/highest level! They have NO credibility! Sharon Perkins

Plays undesired video and audio when the main home news page is scrolled a bit. Even though my phone is set to silent mode. This is disruptive.

Just bad news now one sided and will not fix the app for the last 2 years
