Got a new card at my local petrol station and the app won’t let me register it, keeps saying something wrong all the time,

Can’t create an account, been trying for days, gets blocked on selecting the address
I’ve noticed recently that partner companies keep disappearing from the app. I know HALFORDS were on there a week ago and have now disappeared, same happened with PETS AT HOME a month ago and have now reappeared I have spoken to nectar today regarding this and been advised that HALFORDS are still working with nectar, but now I’ve got to send copy of receipt to get the points via chat (not an issue but inconvenient) Hope they get this issue corrected for when you have to go via app for EBay
Registered my card online but can’t get past the log in screen on the app. Seems to be a very common issue.
I can’t even use this app as it won’t let me create an account! It’s like banging your head against a brick wall. The people at the help centre are very helpful but they are unable to solve the problems. I would commend them for their attempts to help but somebody higher up needs to make an attempt to solve the problems.
So after many £’s worth of points were misused by a thief… again… + many detail-inputs & explanations to a disinterested agent… again… finally receive replacement card. But the app won’t let me go any further than scanning the card number. If you choose your retailer based on rewards look elsewhere! Some of us save our points until they’re worthwhile. Some of us don’t carry cards, preferring to use an app. Some of us have found “More Reasons” to shop at …
This gets worse. Very angry today to have completed a very long survey and only THEN when finished being told ‘sorry you didn’t match’. I mean for goodness sake! There’s no way at all to report issues like this here either, meaning they don’t care when things go wrong. I absolutely cannot recommend this, & besides, Nectar is stopping providing connectivity with likes of eBay etc anyway, so will only be worth using if you visit Sainsbury. Very bad survey site. I use many good ones to be able to make this comparison.
Tried to set this up so every time I go to Sainsbury’s I don’t get fleeced ! But can’t even log in. 1hr I will never get back 🤣 off to Tesco…..
As title says…
When I try to input my address it says there is a technical problem that you are trying to fix. Been like this for 4 hours. Bad first impression of using the nectar app
