NeuralCam Aperture

De werking van sommige app’s gaat mij steeds meer tegenstaan, zoals NeuralCam. Deze blijft telkens bij openen, vragen om volledige toegang tot de fotomap, ’wegens noodzaak om gemaakte foto’s op te kunnen slaan’. Bij uitproberen blijkt de app ook zonder volledige toestemming, foto’s in de fotomap op te slaan. App’s moeten privacy leren respecteren: als de app goed werkt met beperkte toestemmingen, dan als app maker de gebruiker niet irriteren met blíj́ven vragen om volledige toegang tot gegevens! 1 ster dus, bij gebrek aan mogelijkheid van minder.

The app was AWESOME in the beginning, but it has become UNUSABLY slow over the years with updates on my iPhone XS. Taking a photo costs you a minute of processing time, before you can take another photo. I contacted the developer but did not get a response unfortunately. Please improve this! :)

This app has no pinch to zoom in and out. It’s a toggle between 1x and 2x. Unusable

Worked good on se2020. Upgraded this week to 12 mini, app keeps crashing.

Bought the app, made 1 picture of which the quality was okish. After that the app crashes every time I make a picture... Don't recommend it. I'm using iPhone SE 2020 ---- Still crashes, also after the update

Keeps crashing on first try of camera button. All auto. No manual of what all the buttons mean. What's going on?

This app is amazing. It allows anyone to shoot pictures in the dark that normally would be way to dark. With the subscriptions removed it is the perfect camera app for anyone that what’s to shoot pictures in dark environments.

I emailed the developer and got no response, so let me warn everyone else. Current version with iOS 12.3 crashes every time on iPhone XR. Gets to Processing, then exits. Shame, it looked good in reviews. If it gets an update that will make it work (or I get a refund) I'll amend this review.

This app does what it says. Making great pics in the dark. But this app has lots of communication with Facebook (and other tracking) servers when opening and using this app. So that’s why I will delete this app and ask for a refund at Apple. Developers..... STOP TRACKING THE USERS OF YOUR APPS!! If you want to know how people use your apps, just ask them.

Found a bug. It seems to cache the time zone. After being in Taiwan, and now back in CET time zone, it puts pictures 7 hours in the past in my Images photo-roll. Also pictures I took from Taipei 101 were overexposed (no detail). And one I took of a black triangular building nearby had odd fuzzy triangular shaped patches floating to the sides. Indoor and street pictures, without huge dark patches of sky, always come out pretty decent. iPhone SE (= 6S camera), so can't complain too much.
