NHS Scotland Covid Status

The app used to be perfect for getting your status quickly, especially for travel but it’s now saying the following ‘Your domestic certificate is no longer required and has been switched off. Further information is available from NHS Inform https:// www.nhsinform.scot/covidstatus’ the link says you should still have for international travel but there is no longer any way to access this…! The download option no longer appears to be available online either from the link… Poor!

I apparently own an old iPad. I am told I can update to an older version of the current application but no matter how often I click download, it just won’t oblige. What’s the point, if this can’t be made to work then large parts of the world won’t allow me to enter as I won’t be able to show my current status AR code. Sick of continual updates.

Absolutely useless! Can’t either access my account or create a new one - when I try the latter I’m told the email address is already taken; obviously, as I have only one!

iPhone upgraded to ios16 now no longer displays vaccine status

Used to work fine but since a iPhone software update it now tells me I haven’t had any vaccinations-still works fine on my partners older phone though - very frustrating as I’m back to to saving PDF certificate in my files !!

I work internationally and have tried on several occasions to use this app, none of them successfully. The frustrating thing is that at home it works fine and I always check it to ensure it is working before leaving home. For example, the last three times now (twice in Dubai and once in Malaysia)I have tried to use it, the app just displays ‘Your Covid status will be displayed here once at least one of the following has occurred - you have at least one vaccination’ making it look like you’re not vaccinated at all. Incredibly frustrating when there’s a huge queue behind you then you’re there faffing about trying to log into the website to generate a pdf certificate to show them instead. I usually try to fly as paperless as I can but now I’m printing out the pdf from the website at home before leaving due to the app never working.

I need the app for flight to USA, downloaded the app to iPhone no problem, but it insisted I was not vaccinated. My daughter proved my data was correct and also correct on the NHS Scotland system. Phoned the NHS Scotland helpline, the menus system will direct you in circles, but find one which leads to a real person. This will take a long time, but when the person answers they are helpful, they say there is a problem with the Scottish app, they prove my information is in the system but not in the system used by the app. They raise a ‘ticket’, should be sorted in a few days, but it does’t happen. A week later still the same. Tried the app on my iPad Pro, same, useless app. Annoyingly I tried the NHS app ( England ) it seems to work but wont accept my Scotish postcode. Black Isle Pete

I gave it 1* as there isn’t one for zero. I have just had my 4th vaccination and only 2 are recorded. What happened to number 3. Fortunately the app showing 1-3 was operating last week when I visited Spain. Now there is nothing. Original I had to go through England to get a letter. What’s happening? Chris Boult
