I got this app because I’m having trouble staying asleep, and I’m glad I was able to find this app.very satisfied.
This app had a lot of promise. It makes several types of noise. The interface of the app is so simplistic that it’s actually detrimental to the app. The thing that is really egregious, however is the price. $20 a year. That’s not happening. The only reason I downloaded the app at all is because on the App Store page, it listed all of the in app purchase options. There were several lifetime IAP listed. While I don’t agree with paying ANY amount, I don’t mind paying for a lifetime use of an app. I will NEVER subscribe to an app service. Subscriptions hurt the consumers and they only exist because of greed. By all that is water under the bridge, I’ll just bite my tongue and pay. Navigating the app, again, is very frustrating. There are no options, nothing to configure, no settings or tweaks. Ok, that’s fine, whatever, let me just pay my lifetime one transaction and I’ll be done with it. Despite clearly being advertised on the App Store page, no lifetime option exists. Not only is this company greedy, they’re liars as well. Avoid this app.
This is the best app for brown noise and has helped my sleep so much! My only wish for improvements is at least being able to do 1 1/2 hour increments instead of just 1 hour on the timer. If this gets fixed it’d be 5 stars!
This app has legitimately been a game changer for me. I can use it with my AirPods while at the laundromat to be able to read (brown noise for this), while in the grocery store so I don’t experience sensory overload (I have a major sensory overload issue)(brown noise for this), I use it every single night if my life for sleep with my HomePod (pink noise is usually my preference for sleep but I occasionally alternate between green and brown as well), I also have ADHD and use this app a lot just from my phone speaker or with my AirPods when I’m just having trouble concentrating in general but especially if I can’t focus while I’m reading. (Brown noise tends to be my go to for this as well). I also started using this app when babysitting for my best friend and found that pink noise is a miracle worker for babies nap time and sleep time. That friend now uses pink noise in their babies room every single night and has noticed a significant improvement in the amount of time staying asleep and overall quality of sleep for the baby 🖤 All in all I couldn’t be happier that I paid for this app. I’ve used several different apps and this one seems to create the most consistent, high quality sounds. I highly recommend it to anyone! I will say, if you’re using it for sleep, I highly recommend a speaker of some sort because phone speakers just don’t quite do the trick for me personally. Although, you could have a totally different experience; I just wanted to put that out there.
I tried for 3 mun fell in love. DO IT AND GOOD NIGHT 👍
Subscription required hence the one star. If this was a one-time purchase it would be a five star app. Well designed and simple.
Ridiculous charging this as a yearly subscription. I’d pay your price once but not as a subscription. Way overpriced
YOU DONT NEED NO IMPROVEMENTS THIS IS SO GOOD! The only thing is, the limit to five mins is kind of hard, because it should at least be like teen mins but you don’t have to. Byyyeee 💕❤️✌️
I love the options for each noise type, and find this app intuitive and easy to use. My only complaint is that I wish I could select exact time lengths for the timer, rather than 1-hour increments above 1 hour.
