NoWaste - Food Inventory List

Since I have a wall mounted iPad, I (and probably others) need the option to use the front camera for barcode scanning.

App is good, but not spectacular. Zero contact with developers. I’ve sent them 2 e-mails and sadly no response.

Very nice and user-friendly Perfect for people who wants to have an impact on their own food waste. Recommendations for the app: it would be nice if you could have more options for the expiry date. Now it says +3days/ +14days/ no date/ date you have to type in yourself. Pantry items can be stored way longer. When you type in the date, it keeps taking that date the next time you scan the same item… There is no option for adding an expiry date for “once it’s opened”. The database for belgium is already quite good. But more belgian users will help! Note: you have to be subscribed to have access to the large database.

Enige tijd geleden product verwijderd uit lijst, sindsdien een grijs vak dat niet weggaat. Ik moet er ook 10tal keer over scrollen om naar volgende product te kunnen gaan. Oplossing?

very good app to keep track of your food storage and avoid food waste. review after 1 year: the app has been continuously improved and i am still using it almost every day. i did not notice any crashes! a tipp in case you are transferring to a new phone: make sure that you have the online account set up it will safe all your items (otherwise data will be lost)

I downloaded the app was in Denisch, not English and can’t find to change it. Live in Belgium (Dutch speaking) side.

I just paid for the full version and now the app keeps crashing , I work in a shop and now I lost count of the dates from my products..

I paid for the better version and it doesn’t work well. The scanning is slow, the location of stuff is not relevant. I have only used it for a day, and I’m done. I asked for my money with no response!!

Export of list results in an individual itemized list instead of the item and quantities. E.g. if you have 8 steaks, the app list them each individually instead of " steaks: 8.
