Good app but Omega fats missing
Regarding the 'Nutrients' app for the iphone, it would be great to see Omega fats included in the nutrient breakdown.

This app is exactly what I was looking for. Tracks your nutritional intake including vitamins, Animo acids etc with an easy to see chart that shows how far you are close to 100% of your needs in each category. Over time you can adjust your diet to increase or lower the score. At £5 flat fee this is much cheaper than any subscription based app and for me it’s all I need.
To use this app you have to first make a purchase. No free trial! I found the navigation very prescriptive and not flexible enough to construct your own meal plans. Furthermore, the database seems to be more USA orientated, it does not pick up European/UK products. So, frustrating to enter in product details. I’ve deleted the app and presumably wasted the £4.49 purchase cost.
Word of warning for those in the UK that don’t read all the blurb....well you’re probably not going to read this either, but in case you do, don’t bother purchasing as you’ll struggle to find UK food items on here. I’ve just wasted £4.99 - will read more closely next time. Shame as it sounds like a great app.
I relied on this product to successfully lose several kilos on a balanced low-carb diet over a period of months, and recommended it to all and sundry. However, since an upgrade a year or so ago I find that the journal does not reflect the calories set my profile.Far more annoyingly, the program has needed reinstalling two or three times, as it wouldn’t load at all, and I lost my many, many pre-configured recipes, favourites and profile. I paid for this product but there is no technical support.
On the face of it's a great concept but hugely frustrating that there's zero introduction on how to use it. It's completely bias to food and measurement in the US so not useful in the U.K. Disappointing that you can't track free sugars, only total sugars.
A help and instruction page. To be accurate it needs your personal info, height, + or - weight and goals. Dietary searches for food groups or nutrients. Input your own weights for food, recipes don’t always have your measures. A pin wheel or bar chart to see quickly your daily and weekly nutrient, vitamin and mineral intake. I can’t wait for some of these changes ..... to make it a brilliant APP
I have to translate all the ingredients and measures and recognise non of the brands. I lived in the USA for a while and it’s still very difficult to use. Because of this I don’t use it very often.
I’ve noticed that this app doesn’t cover your intake of iodine other than that it seems pretty comprehensive
Graphics all out of sync - no welcome or info page. Jumbled text and no way to personalise or track your info. Have just wasted £5.00 for nothing. There seems to be no way to fix the issue. Also applicable to US market only - imperial not metric info.
