Complete rip off. Very expensive

Do not use apps

I installed the scandi lights app and now my windows won’t open and my horn and alarm are constantly going off. I’ve been warned that pressing the uninstall button may make it worse and it all has to be done the hard way. Which I can see costing me a small fortune to have fixed.

Not use a friendly - Terrible

I purchased this device to do fuel injector coding fuel priming , brake replacement. The options are so well hidden impossible to navigate. You need to know the channel numbers, manufacturer security access codes. Sorry a big a fail. Might as well buy a screened obd scanner on Amazon in that way you simply just click the option needed and your done. A regretful purchase.

I feel a bit ripped off

I bought the pro version and it doesn’t even come with credits. Maybe a buck or two per automation would be fair. But $5 for 10 credits for an extremely basic modification is super steep considering the price of this little thing. I’d look at other options on the market next time.

Was a great tool

A great tool I’ve paid good money for. Now I have to keep paying to use it, ridiculous. Time to find something else.

Some annoying bugs

Works on my 5N series VW, but annoyances. Seems that you can’t switch from adaptions requiring a security code to long coding in the same module without the device refusing wth a link “function not available” or error. You then have to completely get out of the app, disconnect, reconnect, rescan and try again, where it will then most likely work. So it seems like it won’t cache the security code for the current module. Very annoying. Also German -> English translations or explanations would be useful in both the adaptions, and also to reference which functions the long coding is accessing. Live data / gauges on engine performance would be nice too.

Poor iOS functionality

The app really does not have the functionality on iOS that other platforms offer. This is lacking and had I been aware of this prior to my purchase I would have not purchased the device

Save your money, buy something else

The useless robot advised that i should take back to place of purchase after it stopped working after nine months- It should be replaced by that bloke VOLTAS as he’s the one selling dud equipment..Not impressed as the seller doesn’t want to know a thing- so buyer beware…George Voltas is a thief

No more free credits, not a smart move

The lack of communication on the change and that fact it is one of the devices selling points means the change is seen in a very poor light, I expect that the rating will drop through the floor as more realise the change.
