Worst app ever I don’t know how many times I’ve tried to link my card ever since I’ve downloaded the app but it just keeps throwing an error and won’t link.

Makes it very difficult to transfer money from blocked cards to new cards. Process could be much easier but they have chosen deliberately to make it hard to eek out such minimal gains for them to essentially steal.

I’m very happy with the opal travel application

Please update the app on iphone so that we can check tap on/off status. Also why cant this card be added to apple wallet already?

Excellent easy to use app but has some bus routes which times are off. The same routes have been wrong for months since I’ve been using PT.

Opal Card won’t load into iPhone to tap on and off

The timetable is literally never correct. The app routinely forgets my saved trips. The route information fails to inform you of issues occurring on your route.

Good: has widget for departure times; $ price for “planned trips”. Bad: widget only works for direct trips; search function is buggy, eg Wynyard station did not appear in direct trip search 6:43pm 18/6/2025 but appeared in “trip planner” search; $ price not appearing for direct train trips. Half arsed like their train service. Pull your finger out bludgers.
