It won't tell you that you were logged out, it will just block you access to everything. How it could be even possible in a platform that is so expensive

mostly online library. Contains most (if not all) oreilly books plus some books from pragmatic programmers, packt and so on. Its made mostly for software engineers, but there is some content for managers or system administrators. The rule of thumb however is the closer you job title to developer/software engineer the better O’Reilly will suit your needs. I have to admit that despite there were some quality issues in the past now it works like a charm. Well, at least web+iPad. Expensive, 50$ per month sounds like a ripoff, do you really read more than one book per month? But this is not only for books. They have rough cuts so you can read books as they’re being written, live trainings where you can practice and get your questions answered by industry experts.

When l’m logged in by Apple ID, and what read the book, application wants me to log in one more time and after that l’m back on first screen after logging so I can’t read any book. It’s totally absurd.

After the latest update, I can’t log in to my account on app. It says it couldn’t authenticate (I can log in normally on the web browser). The platform is iPhone 11 Pro

There is great content here, but a course video does not even start, while the same video on desktop safari plays without problems. Disappoinment.

I can open OpenStack course on iPad in this app. However I can open this course in google chrome on the same iPad-strange

After purchase subscription app does not allow download any book

I’ve never seen any application so widely used yet having so many bugs. It’s completely unreliable. Bugs: - often forgetting where I’ve finished reading - loosing whole chapters of books (to access them I need to close and reopen the app) - clearing the highlights on it’s own - not being able to scroll to a given highlight (scrolling to some random place in book instead) I just wanted the app to remember where I’ve finished reading but it kept forgetting so I started using highlights for that (I’d highlight the place from which I should start reading next time). Then it turned out it’s not always able to scroll to a place highlighted so I started putting multiple highlights hoping that at least one of them would work. And then one beautiful day all my highlights were gone. This behavior happened to me with all the books I’ve read on OReilly so far (5).

The app forgets credentials after upgrade.
