OTP Auth

Been using this for years. Whilst I'd appreciate a bit of maintenance to shave off some rough edges, this is still the best OTP/2FA app.

As per the title they lure you in with a free mobile app but the desktop app is £5.99. I have used the "Show Secret" function to export my accounts to the new Apple Passwords app which is free on mobile and desktop, with the added benefit it auto fills the 2FA on most sites.

Rarely updated. Extremely basic. Even with paid version you get no response from the developer. There are better 2fa apps that are free, and actively developed, to choose from. You can also pay for them which helps keep the developer(s) advancing the app.

All of a sudden it would appear when I tried to delete entries from my phone for some strange reason, the two entries I deleted are put straight back in again. I have two devices an iPad and an iPhone no matter what I do with the iPhone it is automatically replaced by what is in the iPad. I have even deleted the iCloud database saved the iPhone locally, then synced it to the iCloud. But the iPad database overwrites the new one. No matter what I do I cannot get rid of the iCloud database although the app says it has over written it. I have also deleted everything on the iPad yet. It still finds this rogue database in iCloud and restores from it.

Just what I want from an authenticatior app.

Worded correctly, ‘Just for Pro’s’ purchased the app to support the developer as he doesn’t collect data from this app 😉 It makes sense. It’s always nice to a back-up 2FA app 😊 Keep up the good work 👊🏾

I’ve been using this app over the past few years with no problems at all, including restoring from iCloud backups. It has every feature I need, like algorithm support, and the widget brought in a while ago has been fine too. Today I decided to pick up the pro version to show my appreciation to the dev for a great product. Thanks!

would be 5 stars all the way if the app didn't update and change how the widget works. you used to be able to copy the otp codes directly from the widget on the lock screen, home screen or notification center. now, tapping on a code opens the app and *then* copies it. this is slower and requires me to leave the app i'm currently in.

It’s secured and has all the features. I would pay for it if it had an option.
