Absolutely unacceptable that after spending $300 on the ring, users still have to pay additional $60+/year to have access to their own data. Without membership the app is absolutely useless an so is the ring. A good example of how to kill a brilliant concept. They won’t last long.

I feel conned by Oura. I started with an Oura ring 2 that died after a couple of years, still I went ahead and invested in the ring 3. But don’t be fooled, if you’d don’t pay the monthly subscription the app is basically useless, giving you 3 data points of the last 3 days, but no detail of your sleep, just the overall score. So after you’ve invested in the ring, think that you have to spend an additional €72 every year to have access to your own data. Also the ring is bulky, it doesn’t go by unnoticed, and for me it was always uncomfortable to wear it my sleep as my fingers would swell slightly, just enough to make it feel too tight, even the biggest size. It’s a fad, don’t waste your money. If you have an Apple Watch sleep with that instead.

Since last update it is not detecting naps.

I’ve had the Oura ring for two years. The battery life of the ring is rapidly decreasing and I doubt that the battery will last me for more than another year. Though I have really enjoyed the ring it is pretty annoying and expensive to be buying a new ring every 2- 3 years. I’ve been following the recommendations for charging to prolong the battery life, but after two years I have to charge it every evening before going to bed. When it was new I charged it every 5 days. So if it wasn’t for the battery I would give the Oura a 4 or 5.

Although I find the Ring an App a priceless application I am experiencing the complete crashing of the app about every 2nd IOS update. Is this something that you are aware of?

Got it for a few months now and it’s a brilliant device, flawless and precise. perfect integration with IOS, perfect to use with Apple Watch. App works great, nothing negative to point out

Since the Moment addition update the ring’s battery life decreased substantially. Love my Oura but this situation needs fixing!
