OUTLANDER PHEV Remote Ctrl

As with many other reviewers, this app has moved from low functionality to no functionality. We have a 2018 Outlander. It was always a clunky way to connect but now the iPhone automatically disconnects the access point when the app tries to connect. We didn’t often use the app, mostly just to see where charging was at, but can’t even do that now. I hope the 2022 model cars have a better system.

I have a 2023 outlander and this app doesn’t work at all with it. I’ve been told now that the new outlanders don’t support this. So having developed a bad app instead of fixing it they just disabled it.

I can’t get past even the first step in the registration process.

I cannot get it to work at all

Very disappointing that a good car - Outlander PHEV - comes with such poor quality charging management software. It constantly drops its wifi connection and takes typically 5+ attempts to successfully connect.

This used to at least connect a little, but since about iOS 14 it will not work. The phone disconnects from WiFi and that’s it. No commands sent. Reconnect wifi, disconnected moments later. Utter trash. No updates in years. Mitsubishi don’t care.

I bought this car new. I have to stand beside it to be able to send wifi controls to the car. The wifi signal is very weak. I also have to keep changing from my home wifi to the Outlander wifi to send controls. This is not the case with any other wifi equipment on my system. Then the password drops out often so I have to go back to the car to find it again. You can only set climate control for up to 320 minutes ahead rather than at a particular time. So if I want the car warm before I go to work I have to get up 4 hours before I head out the door. Crazy.

Helt ubrukelig- null stjerner Fryktelig skuffende for en ellers bra bil

Kun kilde til frustrasjon. Helt ubrukelig og vanvittig irriterende. Går ikke å koble til og kun feilmelding. Mitsubishi MÅ komme på banen med oppdatert versjon som fungerer. Dette er direkte slurv og bidrar til dårlig omdømme. Er det andre ting med Mitsubishi som har like dårlig kvalitetssikring som denne appen?

Dette må være den verste løsningen jeg har sett på en bil noensinne en Wifi løsning som fungerer med ca 3 m fri sikt. Og når telefonen er tilkoblet bilen ja da har den ikke Internett på noe annet vis fordi at Wi-Fi mot bilen fungerer bare direkte mellom bil og telefon i tillegg så får man jo også masse feilmeldinger hvis man prøver å koble seg til og får heller ikke brukt funksjonaliteten i dette makkverket av en app. Derfor er den ikke verdt noen stjerner bilen hadde vært bedre uten denne løsningen som en tilleggsfunksjon som ikke fungerer
