Be careful of their sneaky cancellation policy, I made the mistake assuming this company would have the same cancellation as all other things of this type where as long as you cancel a week before your monthly subscription is due to be renewed then it would be cancelled, but no once you tell them you want to cancel you have to pay for the entirety of the next month as well!!!

I thought I was reserving a spot for later today however I just checked the app and instead there was a countdown which I have now stopped and I have been charged for parking when I haven’t even been. Attempting to use chat support on the app to enquire about this and my message won’t even go through.

These issues have been raised by other users and there seems to be no fix or response from the developers It’s too easy for users looking at the availability to get locked into a booking that they then have to pay for, without even ever having been at the car park park’s location. While it seems fair that you pay when you reserve a spot, what’s not fair is making someone pay when they haven’t clearly confirmed a booking and they’re only looking at the availability. There’s no signal in the car park as it’s underground, it would seem that even if you did end parking before going underground you still wouldn’t be able to open the gate. I can’t speak to this issue personally but other users have said that even if you park for less than 5 hours the app will still charge you the daily rate, despite adverting a cheaper rate for users who park under 5 hours. Also slightly inconvenient that I have to drive to the bottom of the car park on a non peak day when all the upper levels are basically empty for the whole day. Overall I do like the idea of booking and securing a specific numbered parking space, saves me travelling all the way only to have no parking, however the execution is leaving somethings to be desired.

A poor user experience. The app annoyingly doesn’t have a cancel booking option so if you wake up unwell or the kids are sick in the morning, Parkable will charge your credit card whether you show up to the car park or not.

How difficult can they make it

Parked in bay not knowing it was not available, went to move my car, still plenty of bay available, parable went ahead and started my session and also charged me extra $25

Could not log in for nearly an hour after leaving.

It’s an awful app, park somewhere else

No integration with Carplay. Ridiculous for a car parking app in the modern age. It is dangerous and illegal to use your phone while driving.
