Patch Base is a collection of patch editors and librarians for new and vintage synthesizers, enabling easy visualization, editing, and organization of patches.

* Edit the parameters of your synth in real time, while you play
* Manage your patch banks directly from the app

Subscription payment is charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of subscription purchase. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal and manage your subscription at any time from your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

Doesn’t support circuit tracks
The app doesn’t support the Novation Circuit Tracks, only the old model circuit, so it won’t work in my setup
Broken for Volca FM
Cool idea. Too bad it doesn’t work at all. Seems so riddled with bugs that there’s no way to actually use it. Can’t even unmute it while creating the patch. Can’t even access operators 4-6.
Negative reviews are biased for Apps price
If you take the time to read all the negative reviews on this app they are based solely on the app price, not on the functionality of the app. Works just fine, developer is constantly updating to squash bugs and adding new synths. My only gripe is the UI can sometimes feel a little clunky.
Best synth programmer on ipad hands down.
Probably the best app for programming your synths on iPadOS. You do have to know what you’re doing of course. Works amazingly with MIDI and network MIDI too.

Subscription model for this is a rip off. No thanks.
Roland Super JX, Super Jupiter?
I’m loving the controller but would REALLY LOVE an MKS-70 and MKS-80 controller. You have the 50 there lol, but these aforementioned are LEGENDARY Roland rack synths!
Update: JD-Xi fixed
Had been using this app with my Roland jd-xi for quite a while and it functioned very well. Recently they updated the app and I unfortunately tried the update. It’s Terrible. Constant hangs and crashes, I’m unable to edit patches properly because of how often the app crashes. It most often crashes when transitioning from one page to another, which sadly you must do frequently due to the new version having changed the workflow. Update: Spoke to the developer and they updated the app, it no longer hangs or crashes and works as smoothly as before! I’m very impressed at their responsiveness and kindness about my problem and am happy to use this app again to get the most out of my synth.
