Terrible prices, this small app asks subscription like Adobe and Microsoft, and one year subscription for THE WHOLE Microsoft bundle is cheaper! I'd better recommend to find hardware controllers, ala Pg 300. Sad

Patch Base is a collection of patch editors and librarians for new and vintage synthesizers, enabling easy visualization, editing, and organization of patches.

Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal and manage your subscription at any time from your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

Brilliant!
I’ve owned this app now for over two years, and If I could give it a ten star rating I would. I own 13 of the synths it targets and every one of them works brilliantly. It’s greatest feature is the ability to load Sysex files. I have thousands of DX7/D50/TX81z etc patches from years of programming and internet surfing and they are all now stored in PatchBase. I don’t even touch the devices anymore other than to turn them on. Nor do I worry about changing backup batteries. I just use PatchBase as my librarian and send the patches to the units and then edit as I please without touching the front interfaces of the synths. To the developer...thank you!!! Your’e doing a brilliant job and I am one satisfied customer. I would have happily paid twice as much for this. Keep up the great work.
An Excellent App for Unlocking the Power of Your Synths.
A really great product.I don’t write many reviews - but felt the need to write this one, because Patch Base was exactly what I was looking for when I wanted to edit patches on my Korg Volca FM. I now also use it for my Yamaha FB-01 and Roland D-110 - it’s an integral part of my workflow. Highly recommended.
Nice editor
Works well with the synths that I’ve tried it with. The interface is clean and minimises the kind of clutter that is often seen in editor/librarians. Setup is relatively simple but it’s best to use the author’s Max device for communication if you’re working over wi-fi as I do. No issues with patch retrieval and editing once I set that up. Still having trouble pulling banks but I’m guessing that’s user error and it doesn’t cost a star for me as I’m so happy with the editor itself. The hardest thing for me was remembering what all the parameters on my ESQ-M actually did.
Doesn’t support circuit tracks
The app doesn’t support the Novation Circuit Tracks, only the old model circuit, so it won’t work in my setup
Awesome app
I absolutely love this app for my blofeld and my mopho. I use it basically for random patch generation. It gets sounds out of the mopho that you would never be able to get if programming it yourself. It can latch the arp and the sequencer at the same time. Amazing. Now if you guys could build a version for the Korg Wavestate that would be truly amazing. Hopefully sometime in the near future. 😊
Broken for Volca FM
Cool idea. Too bad it doesn’t work at all. Seems so riddled with bugs that there’s no way to actually use it. Can’t even unmute it while creating the patch. Can’t even access operators 4-6.
