Poor in every way possible.
I am so disappointed with PayPal that I am closing both my business and personal accounts.
The fees are outrageous and the withholding of money from my small business has been difficult to handle.
I now have a much better provider for online and card payments, cheaper, easier to use and I have my funds the next working day.
So long PayPal: thank you SumUp.

Unacceptable delays in transfers. Ten years of selling with PayPal and they treat me like dirt. They currently owe me nearly £3K. I’ve been waiting nearly a month. Meant to be instant. Customer service representative friendly but very much a case of ‘computer says no’. Avoid using PayPal if you can.

On the whole It’s better than PayPal here, fees are less the card machine is more efficient if I had to be critical as a hairdresser the catalogue of treatments I store is less user friendly than before, but that being said I wouldn’t revert.

I have 20+ transactions on PayPal in the current year alone with zero issues during the first 2 quarters of 2023,
My account is in very good standing according to the customer service calls I had with multiple PayPal representatives prior to this incident; in fact my receiving limit was recently upgraded to 2200$ per month
as well as the great client reviews I have on my website, Instagram and Facebook pages yet my account gets closed after 1 refund claim that was closed amicably?
In fact I should be the one reporting this transaction with this client as buyer fraud for the damage they caused my business. This client claimed the service wasn’t received and asked for a refund. Which is far from the truth and fraud from the client’s side.
And then she closed the case when I called and told her that I would escalate the case with PayPal, yet my account gets closed instead? What is the reason for this?
While the service was provided perfectly and in time from my side. I have every proof to prove service completion.
The client received the service mentioned (Catering for 7 ) on May 4th. And was very happy with it. I have messages and screenshots as well as pictures of the service provided to prove it.
The catering service was provided to the best standards on time and with the highest quality.
Kindly review the case and get back to me as soon as possible. Maybe then I’ll consider changing my review
