Here’s the 1-star review you interrupted my studies to obtain
In two pages view mode, it automatically makes page 1 be separated, page 2 and 3 be together, page 4 and 5 be together… but in some files, I want page 1 and 2 be together, page 3 and 4 be together, page 5 and 6 be together… I didn’t find any option to choose whether page 1 is separated or is together with page 2.
The MacOS version of this app adding pages to document feature does not work, either when simply "saving" the document or "saving as" a new document name. The added pages simply do not save to the document. I have reached out to support and was disappointed that they were not able to rectify the problem. App version updated to latest version at time of review. The iPadOS version works well, but the MacOS app has these issues.
I keep going back to another reader because you can use auto scroll there free, which is missing here…
When I make notes, it continually freezes within 15 minutes and i lose a large amount of notes, before it inevitably crashes please fix.
My favourite so far. The only thing missing is right to left support for non English documents whereby pages are sorted in the opposite order (Arabic for example).
Now very laggy since last update. Please fix! App pauses for long periods and then “catches up”…but this makes drawing or even neat note-taking impossible (in the best cases) and in the worst cases results in loss of data as the app crashes. PDF Viewer is the only app behaving like this on my iPad at the moment, and I’ve even tried reinstalling the app, and then factory resetting the iPad.
The software crashed and I lost a substantial quantity of notes and annotations. It is generally unstable when opening and saving to Microsoft OneDrive. I will not use this again.
The app runs smoothly and supports multiple tabs too - wish annotation was seamless, instead of requiring a button press after picking up my Apple Pencil.
Can’t say enough about what a great app this is for me and highlighting construction issues. Well worth it!
