This app is great for meeting mums in your area with babies around the same age! I’ve made some awesome friends from this app. I do think,however, some of the features promote negativity. On your feed you’ll see different posts on different groups. A lot of the time there’s a lot of negativity and mum-shaming whether it be a post or the comments. I think this needs to be monitored more closely. The whole point of the app is to connect and create a safe space for mothers after all.
After having my second child I was worried about finding mums with babies the same as as her, so I joined Peanut and it has been an amazing experience! I have met some awesome mums and made some great friendships, and so has my daughter! It’s such a nice way to spend a quiet evening once the children are in bed just chatting to mums in the same position as me in life. Sharing tips and tricks and learning new ones is definitely a plus as well! There’s mums in all stages of parenthood so there’s heaps to learn from more experienced mums. 100% recommend Peanut for all mums!
This app is the best to get support and advise or even make new mummy friends while getting into and going through motherhood.
This app is amazing! I love talking to other mamas on a daily basis through peanut. I’ve even met some of my closest mama friends through this app. It’s really nice to be able to relate to other mums and also not have to stress about messaging back super fast etc as they understand as they are mums too, it’s a busy life!
This app is not totally free to use. You still need to pay a fee to use all of the functions. This is very disappointing.
You have to refer people to see who "waves" at you for ONE DAY. Was excited to see and use a platform specifically for mums and bubs, until i actually figured out how it actually works 🤦🏼♀️
Peanut is amazing! I was really worried about going into my first pregnancy without any mum friends and this app has connected me to mums in my area that have been there done that or that are in the same boat as me. Peanut has a real sense of community and it’s a beautiful platform to blossom friendships
Such a great way to connect with local mums and make new friends. The mums I have connected with so far have been super easy to chat to and looking for connection and friendships too. Makes this isolating time a lot less lonely 🙂
This app is great! Have met some cool people that I will have lifetime bonds with. A lot of people are really local too which is cool.
App works as expected apart from when trying to filter to mums with specific aged babies. I tried to find mums with babies under 1 year old but it still kept showing mums that were 30 weeks pregnant or with 2 year olds.
