Was able to link HDFC accounts with international phone number but can not set up UPI pin because of unknown error. Tried way too many times and set up keeps failing. The app does have a ticketing system but can not create a ticket for a general problem. You must select a transaction (which I have none).
Get rid of submit button. It is annoying
Does not work promptly sometimes. I ended up paying 3 times for an Ola fare when the phone pe transaction did not go thru initially 2 times so I had to pay in cash. The other two payments eventually passed and now I am left with two PhonePe payments plus a cash payment for the same transaction. When complained to phone Pe they just threw their hands up because they said “ Once the transaction goes through they can not do anything? “ all this for their fault 😡
This app breaks the fundamental transactional integrity of financial market. There has been a number of case transactions got hung, money got out of my account but did not reach recipients account. This stays for over 2 days and had to follow up with receiver to get money back etc which is a painful thing. It’s shocking this app is allowed by regulators to deal with public money. A transaction needs to always fully success or fully unwind - never leave a state where money is debited from payer but did not reach receiver for a substantial amount. This will now be reported to Apple for review whether this app will be allowed to be on store. In addition there is no customer support. There is a chatbot where there is no option to reach any customer support.

I had two transactions that was debited from my NRO account but the beneficiary hasn’t received it yet. I believe it is locked in phone pe holding accounts. I am trying reach PhonePe phone support but it is not accepting my US number to look up my account. Frustrating that the money is debited from my account but the merchant hasn’t received. No accountability from PhonePe.
It is still failing to send verification message when trying to add Bank account linkage.
Such a big company used to be my fav. But they ate my hard earned money of mutual funds of 50 k.after repeated conversations and so much talks and provided bank statement what i got nothing.pls dont book MF from third party apps if you are not tech savy person.buy from mutual fund itself app.i loved u so much but now i hate u phone pay.
It’s simple and any one can easily operate the app. Not only urban but it is easy even to rural public
