Photobucket used to be my go to place. And I would’ve paid for it if they had given us a decent amount of storage. But you can only store up to so much. And then after that point you gotta pay and it’s not even worth it. I suggest you find a different place a better place. Photobucket has gone to the dogs. Bow Wow.
Have been able to download for free, and today get an email that I now need to pay monthly to access them! Hard pass, do not use this shady company!
Got tired of my old photos being held hostage behind a paywall, so to get photos off for good and be done with it, here’s what I did: 1. Sign in on desktop 2. Make sure the email address is current in the settings (click the icon in the upper right corner of the screen next to ‘My Bucket’) 3. Go back to your bucket 4. Click ‘Select’ 5. Click the first picture 6. Scroll to the bottom 7. Hold shift 8. Click the last photo 9. Click ‘Download Media’ (the cloud icon with the arrow at the top of the screen) You’ll have a zip file sent to the email address they have on file for you. You’re welcome. PS - no developer response needed. I understand the need for funds to continue paying for supported development, but the ethical and graceful way to handle legacy users is to grandfather them into what they’d actually signed up for.
Joined for free, uploaded memories then they decide to charge to access your account.
Photobucket makes it seem as if it’s a free app where you can hold all your dearest memories (pictures and videos) but after a little while makes you pay so you can access them don’t download this app it’s not worth it
Photobucket was the first photo app that I got to share photos online. It worked great, allowed me to store about 100-150 photos with a video or 2, back when 10mb video file was big, 20 years ago…. I haven’t used it lately and didn’t even put it on my iPhone 16 when I got it, rarely used it with my iPhone XS Max or iPhone 6 before that, it was just sitting there waiting for me to get it from the cloud. Well, I got an email about I haven’t logged on in a while so I download it. You have to have a subscription to USE the app. Unless I accept a free trial, I won’t get my pictures. I have decided I will no longer use or have Photobucket on my phone. The iPhone cloud is good, and posting is much easier the last 10+ years. App is obsolete, I have most if not all the pictures on a hard drive (somewhere).
Been a long time user I have lots of pictures stored over the years that I now have to pay to get. This site has been terrible for a while with how to receive your photos or videos but I can’t even get into my account without paying. Luckily I had moved most everything to Amazon photos. While that is a paid side with my prime it seems a lot more stable and not just money greedy for bare minimum.
I guess I loss all my pictures because I never updated and agreed to pay them monthly service
I’m really sad I can’t access my photos without paying first. This is ridiculous.
