Wow, so Apple AI can decide when my photos need to be blurred? My own personal photos. Tried to use the clean up tool to remove blemishes and it usually works perfectly and I absolutely love the clean up feature. Well, apparently, Apple has decided to remove this and instead BLUR the area highlighted. They apparently are doing this when photos are deemed “inappropriate” by their own Apple “intelligence.” And there is no way to remove it. Such a waste of money if you pay for the extra storage and then can’t even edit your own photos. AI should stay out of the decision making of my own personal photos.

this app likes to make things called “ movies “ where they grab random pictures of you and put them in a video without permission plus they sometimes put unnecessary images and videos like i took i picture of me pointing at nothing so i can design something but guess what….. THEY PUT THE PICTURE IN THERE! like literally what are you guys thinking?! They are like “ awww hes cute when he points lets put him in the video without permission! “ please remove this feature its creepy and it feels like i am being stalked

Why on god’s green earth can you airdrop videos/photos from phone to phone and the content is immediately available in the photos app. Yet when you airdrop from phone to Mac it always goes to the files app unless you plug in usb-c or just wait for I cloud to sync when it wants. This is the most absurd quirk they need to figure out.

I keep having a problems where I can’t delete photos. I delete them and they just instantly pop back up with no reason what so ever and my storage is full

Useless and more useless with each updates

Please fix the bugs I’m unable to even open my photo app at all.

One thing from the menu, I found myself not liking about this app now whenever I take a new picture it duplicates photos I’ve deleted from

Still looks bad. Never once heard a good review about the new layout. I can’t stand not being able to save my place in an Album or in my All Photos section or even the Search Option when I switch between them. Now everything is one section and if you scroll wrong, you close the Album and have to reopen and search all over again. Also crashes a lot more often than it used to.

There’s too many things wrong with this app to put here, I’d need to publish a book for that. But maybe I’ll just add to this review over time. The first thing that is so dumb is that under the “People” category, don’t expect to see every picture that the app tags as that person there. The app will curate that section so that you see a fraction of the tags images. And there’s no toggle to change that. I know, there are smart albums and other ways to get all the images to show, but only in other places. Not under the “people” section, where it would be the most obvious place to have it. I’ll come back here for other issues later.
