Pillars: Prayer Times & Qibla

Whereas previously a lesser level of permissions (While Using the App or Widgets) was good enough for the widget to update, now Pillars forces you to change your location permissions to “Always” for the widget to update properly. This perhaps begins the steady breach of trust/privacy that is not too uncommon for Muslim app developers. With features of ‘convenience’ like Autopilot, I’d recommend proceeding with caution regardless of the current privacy policy claims. I’d also recommend caution concerning partnerships this App engages in; some charities are notorious for data breaches and using your data outside of the terms you agree on, in addition to misappropriation of funds as “administrative overhead”.

It has a nice desing and is my favorite muslim app.

Very good app and good layout. It would be very helpful if there was also notifications for adhkar so you could set yourself a reminder for example 30min before fajr or 1h before asr ends. and also for every prayer time a reminder that it will start in 10 minutes so if you didn't pray the current prayer you still have time to do so. But overall very good time calculation and has a good overview!!

Assalamalaykum, I love this app and I have been using it for almost 2 years now since i reverted. It has both motivated me and reminded me to pray on time, everyday, 5 times a day. Alhamdullilah. I realised on the first page, after sunrise, there is a countdown to dhuhr with notice that during this time one can/should pray Duha prayer. This made me think of a few ideas that could motivate people like me to pray duha as well as tahajjud and witr and other optional but very recommended prayers. Here is the idea: Just like one can tick off the prayers they did during the day or missed. There could be an optional prayers section or added on the 5 daily prayers (maybe faded so one knows they r optional) so one could tick those off too when they do them. And similarly to how a little congratulations emoji pops up when all 5 prayers are ticked off for the day, one could earn digital medals or trophies or streaks for performing tahajjud 100 times or duha for 7 days in a row etc… Of course this app should not become a game and intention for prayer should always be to get closer to Allah rather than earn rewards on the app. However, if done simply and cleverly I believe this idea could motivate muslims and reverts like myself to perform those recommended but not fard prayers more regularly. I recently got this app and after using it I thought, “Maybe all this app needs is Ramadan Stuff,like when iftar is or when suhoor is”. I’ve come to ask you, Please Add A Ramadan Timetable,Iftar Time and other stuff related to Ramadan.Jazakallah Khair

I now know when asr or maghrib ends or when it starts really useful when I went Saudi Arabia I used it there and when I had Muslim pro they told me the wrong times but then I found this app and it really helped me jzhakallah khayran

Never done a review before but after using “Muslim Pro” for years I finally discovered this app. Main reason was because the other apps have countless ads, this one is so smooth and seamless, definitely something I’d pay for. Well done guys! ⭐️
