Pocket FM: Audio Series

I don’t mind watching an ad to listen to 1 episode but when I finally get to episode 322 I am asked to watch 322 ads to get to listen to 323. Forget it. If this is to force you to purchase coins it’s not worth it

Quite good audio books but disappointed as it becomes more and more expensive the further you progress. They reduce the amount of free episodes you get each day. Episodes get far more expensive if you want to watch multiple episodes at a time rather than one of two per night. It ends up costing an arm and a leg, especially because some have a couple of thousand episodes. 😒💰 Plus Im not sure if this is the case for all audio books but for the one I was listening to if you decide to re-watch/re-listen to episodes you no longer get the animated ai images. Completely lost interest as I have spent about $30 now and I’m at about episode 200 of 2,290 😂 yeah work that out

Love the stories BUT they only release one 7min to 12 min character a day and when I went to purchase more coins to listen to example purchase 160 coins @ $29.99 on App Store it actually cost me $45.00 dollars not happy have tryed to contact pocket FM no response from them 😞😩😞😩😞

Drag you all the way through, lead you into buying these stupid coins to continue going on, which is fair but don’t change the whole dialogue and direction immediately after! Absolutely shocking and terrible!

There’s a lot of great content and stories on your app but to bad it’s way too expansive to purchase episodes. To be able to binge and finish my series I’m invested in which has a little over 2000 episodes I’d have to spend 100’s of dollars. With the most expensive in app currency package costing approximately 142$ au and providing 1001 in app coins. I’d be able to roughly purchase 143 episodes of my series costing on average 7 in app coins. Yes you get 5 or so episodes unlocked everyday but for most consumers who want to binge the product this just isn’t very good. Why don’t you guys do some sort of subscription which unlocks the whole catalog of stories or lower your in app coin prices significantly. You could even change all episode prices to 1 in app coin an episode which is still 10x better then the system that is currently in place. I hope you guys at least consider what I’m saying as a lot of the content on here is very good.

A single show will cost you over $100

I’ve found a couple great stories and absolutely enjoyed 7 eps u get free. This does slow to 2 and 1 episode per day and I was happy to pay for the whole story but this is done through coins. U can only purchase a single chapter and when there 1500+ chapters and your at 200, that’s too much. What would be helpful is if there was an option to buy the whole thing, or purchase a monthly subscription to make it 10 episodes a day. Most people are pretty impatient and want value for money. I worked out it’s about $60aud/ story. At that price, I’ve gone back to other apps. I’ve gone from 5 stories to 2 and really it’s like 1 I’m listening. I’m losing interest and if the audiobook was $20aud I would have bought 3 but at current price, it’s easier to go back to other app. Quality and quantity. Maybe I’m cheap but i also spend when I see a bargaining Again great marketing releasing 7 ish episodes a day but too expensive for me to stay invested or want to listen to other stories. And it looks like there are some great reads, just not willing to look at the current price range

I have a very big problem with this app. Firstly the advertising was very different from what is obtainable on the app. The book shows as a video on ads but only audio on the app. Secondly I subscribed thinking I’ll get the video but this I was a lie. Now, I can’t even cancel or delete my profile. ZERO STAR!

I have been listening to multiple stories for many months. The recent change to force me to listen to and click responses to progress through 5-7 sections of 5 different stories has driven me to cut back to 2-3 stories and soon to one story then none! It is ludicrous, difficult and immensely annoying! What has driven you to destroy this great app? If you don’t rectify your grave mistake I will leave it and just listen to my free library audible books in future. I have limited dexterity, poor eye sight, and concentration issues. I used to enjoin my stories BUT now it would be easier to read a paper copy! Please stop this new system! Regards DISGRUNTLED USER!!!

It’s been a week and I haven’t had any free episodes. Pretty awesome to see the timer go from 1 min until release back up to 24 hours until release. Edit: another day and no free episodes
