Potion Explosion

This game is fine if you just want to play against computer opponents. But it’s absolutely non-functional if you try to play against other people. It had been a while since I tried, and I saw there had supposedly been quite a few “bug fixes.” Nothing is fixed and the game still glitches. It crashes when you try to take your turn, or it doesn’t actually log the turn you took, or it makes you endlessly take the same turn over any over. It’s hard to believe the game has been around so long with so little functionality.

This is one of my favorite board games, but unfortunately, the online play is extremely broken. It’s very difficult to try to finally connect to a match with a friend, and once we do, we probably have to redo our returns six times a game at least because when you close the app and come back in, it didn't register the turn. Solo play is fine.

This is my go-to game on my phone. Really fun! Bought the expansion pack about a year ago and have really enjoyed it. Hoping for more potion expansion options in future! (“Paint” an ingredient a different color while on the board, swap 2 ingredients while still on the board, swap 2 ingredients from anywhere on the board, etc.) Only issue is that multiple updates have been VERY “buggy.” To the point that I can’t plan the online version because it just spins. Sometimes this lasts for weeks or even months until the next update. Sometimes deleting and reinstalling the app helps, but often you just have to wait for the next update to play again. If this gets fixed, I’d rate it 5 starts for sure!

This is the 2nd time I’ve had this app and it completely stops working. I love the game itself; I own the board game, it was one of my firsts getting into board gaming and still one of my favorites. But the app needs work! I tried clicking on “app support” and that’s not working, either—just went to a blank page.

I used to play this game multiple times a day against the computer one the hardest difficulty with the expansion. Now the devs release a very buggy variant of this game that has SOOO many problems, I’m not even sure where to begin. The biggest problem I can point out is that ghost balls never go into the ball track when you discard them, effectively losing 12 balls in the game.

This game did run great bit now, nothing but issues while playing online against my husband. Game keeps making us retake turns, shows his turn on my screen, but on his it says my turn. Husband starts game with me but it does not show up on mine. So many issues. Please fix.

I took a small break from the game and came back to see they updated to a new online server. Since that update, I have not been able to successfully complete an online game with friends. It will freeze in between turns and my buddy will even finish their game and I am still waiting as if they haven’t even made a move yet. We paid for this app and it’s expansions. It was working fine before. FIX IT PLEASE

This game was so much fun and then something happened to it. Now nothing ever works. It just quits and freezes or closes. I’m so disappointed because it was a fun game to play with friends too. I wish it would work the way it was back in the winter of 2022. I would have given it 5 stars but this most recent update has rendered it useless. Even trying to play offlineit just quits or freezes no matter how many times I delete or restore the app.

With every update I continue to NOT be able to invite buddies to a game. App continues to tell me I have no buddies (I have 4!) and I ‘should totally get some’ So so SO frustrating! Games with random strangers continue to be glitchy

Well, we tried. The same four of us, we used to play PE a lot. Signed up, two of us can’t join. Tried again, same issue. Your customer support link goes to a 404 page not found. What now, oh horribleguild people? Aptly named much? WE WOULD LIKE TO PLAY!
