The app is always behind iOS updates for functionality. I send them emails about bugs or simple things like connecting to WiFi and no response or fix. Currently the widgets don’t work since new iOS. Some shades work while others don’t. Shade testing feature doesn’t always work. It’s miserable.
The app usually works very well, but the latest update seems to have removed the ability to save adjustments/changes—in both Dashboard and Scenes, “Save” is currently nonfunctional. Edit: This issue appears to have been fixed—thank you!!
When trying to create a new scene, I select the room, then next. The website says I can then give it a custom name, but in the app I can just select a color then an icon. After I select one it gives me the option of adding weather icon, rather than giving met that option from the start. Then the Next button doesn’t work. So I’ve been unable to create new scenes beyond what was set up by the installer.
Setting a shade position for a scene doesn’t save the position. I set the shades at 40% for the scene and saved it. I ran the scene and it just opens the shades all the way. I go back in the scene and the shades position says open instead of the 40% I set it to. It just resets back to open after saving. I had to set it seven times for it to stick.

The app overall works well. Sometimes the shades do not respond. However, there’s an ongoing bug where the app is using a lot of background activity and killing battery. It has to be force closed.
About once a month it forgets the WiFi, requiring reset of the hub. Without the WIFi connection, it is impossible to control the blinds remotely. It seemed to start this behavior after an update about four months ago.
Promised HomeKit support when I purchased 3 years ago, still never happened. Constantly plagued with issues, the most recent being recalibration (which I need to do more often than I’d like for an expensive system) has completed locked all the blinds in the closed position and cannot be adjusted. And of course no support available at all on the weekend so left with 48 hrs of darkness
2+ years with HD Powerview in my house. 3 gateways and the app can’t handle parallel processing. It locks up Room action by Room action. Painful.
