We do the rest, God do the rest!
Prayer is the key
Thank you Jesus for the help and the day that I ran down that Asle calling on Jesus to help me. I had a break down and Psychiatrist couldn’t help me for 6 Mos. There medicines didn’t work. I tried to kill my self and my unborn son. Taking those pills I didn’t want to die. Rush to the hospital. Dr couldn’t pump my stomach. Told me to go home have a good high. What the psychiatrist tried in those 6 Mos. Jesus did in a split of a second. He’s real. They said I will be back. They all ways will. I went to tell them. I didn’t need there meds any more. That’s been 50 yrs and I haven’t been back. Amen Jesus did it yeah!!!!!!!!
I understand having some ads, but this is ridiculous. I have been on the app for about 15 minutes and already heard 4 ads. I listened to a story about Genesis, then I was in the middle of a sleep Psalm which was very calming and actually helping my insomnia. I was slowly drifting off to sleep when a very loud ad for Amazon woke me all the way back up. I have worked in marketing and advertising for many years, so I get it. But offering stories to help people sleep, and then putting disruptive, loud ads in the middle of it is defeating the purpose. Just like many other Christian things I have run into, it’s all about the money I guess. How disappointing.
I downloaded this app to listen to peaceful prayer and scripture to fall asleep, and right as I started to relax… a LOUD commercial jolted me out of my peace! Deleted app
Update: it’s been well over a week since I responded to your email asking for assistance in response to my review and no one has responded to me. I continue to receive ads even though I am paying for this subscription to be ad free. Can you please let me know when someone is going to respond to me? I don’t understand why all of a sudden, within the past week, I started to receive Ads when I listen to the app now. I am paying for the subscription to have zero ads!! Why am I receiving ads?? Per your comment, I sent you an email
The “Meditative Preh’s” wake me in the middle of the night when I’m trying to dream to my Bible stories. Please make it so I can turn them off. Please. PLEASE. God bless her with the world. I just can’t handle the accent. No more “Meditative Preh’s.”
I love this app. From a development standpoint, it’s strong. It can glitch, but an overall strong technical performance. But the content…oof. The daily prayers are great, but the sermons can be very old school. I’m the granddaughter of a preacher, so for me to say that is really something. There are too many political messages and shaming of other groups. And some of the content around women and their roles, etc….was just insulting. In one sermon the pastor was speaking to unforgiveness (an important topic) but he specifically calls out women to ‘stop arguing with their husbands’ but never calls out the men on their side of things (an argument takes two). There is a lot of that type of content in sermons. I find myself skipping sermons more and more because the message is so antiquated. Lastly, content creators on this app, please stay up on current news landscape. There is a lot of TD Jakes content on the app. Considering what he’s done, he’s far from a role model.
I love god and listening as if he is talking makes me feel good
