12.99 is pretty expensive for a terminal app, so I expect something premium here. Two annoyances straight away - no dark mode for their UI, there is dark mode for the terminal, but their UI system is bright white, it's like staring into a lightbulb, and if you're spending a lot of time in terminal dark mode then you switch from pure black to pure white a lot and it gives you a headache. If you support dark mode then make your *whole ui* dark. Fullscreen - there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off their tabs at the top of the screen, so now there's a big white bar across the top of the screen, and since it cannot be put in dark mode, it's like having a glaring white light above your terminal shining in your eyes. All pro terminal users know that if you're spending a lot of time in terminal, you need to get rid of all white so your eyes can relax into the dark contrast mode. This app feels like it was written by people who don't use terminals much ...

Had for a few years now brilliant app. Not tried many others as this one dose the job perfectly. One thing i would like to see though is the ability to change the colour of the terminal text. Other than that this app is a must if you have a server that you might need to administer on the go you should get.

Hard to say that anything is missing. Am remotely logging into my dev machine which is no longer portable As a purist I would have preferred typing in the ssh command but as that would involve programming a 3rd party full blown terminal (otherwise, a crude knockoff that emulates the ssh command), I can see why they went for this GUI login instead, which is very clean.

I often have to move form my shell to safari or my stocks or email, if I come back more than a very short moment later I have to log,back in and restart my screen. Pease add a background keepalive or similar and I’d gladly receives aas 5

I lose all my work when this app drops the SSH connection to my *nix box because it is in background. I repeatedly kept losing work (but luckily the Linux ‘screen’ or ‘tmux’ programs could completely prevent the this). The developers simply blamed iOS and offered no resolution. This may well be true, since I know zero about iOS but it is totally inadequate excuse for lack of will to fix a critical problem. I could certainly fix the problem myself, seeing as I am an designer and can immediately see a guaranteed solution. Avoid unless you can work around this killer issue. Waste of time.

Easy to use and set up, I have it configured to connect to my Raspberry Pi's using a mix of ssh keys and login prompts. I really like the Clips feature where I can save lines of text to execute repetitive commands without having to type them out. No issues with vim or nano editors, and I don't get constant pop-ups when the app is backgrounded whilst in a session as mentioned by another review. I also like how the app can be protected using touchID to save me needing a pass phrase on ssh key pairs.

Purchased this hoping I could SSH to an EC2 instance. Copied across my key to the app, and it didn't work, there is no 2fa so I know the key should have worked. Asked for some assistance from the prompt team, and got no response. A shame as the app looks very good, just isn't useful for EC2.

Resume is much better, with none of the crashing I experienced before. UI is clear and concise. Text is rendered clearly, in sensible fonts (with powerline support). Currently my favourite ssh app for remote dev in a tmux/vim environment.
