Pump with Elvie

If you want it to only last 3-4 weeks when you purchase, then go ahead. Otherwise, these pumps are fine when they work, what’s really annoying is they only last 3 fricking weeks! They keep sending you hubs and they are junk in terms of tech. My wife has already gone through 4 hubs. It’s ridiculous.

I used a Medela double breast pump with my first child and hated how loud and clunky it was, how I was always plugged into a wall and how long it would take. With Elvie, I’m able to pump 8oz (double pump) in like 15 minutes! It’s quiet enough that I can watch tv without waking everyone up at night and I can even get up to pee or wash bottles while wearing it! It does tend to leak if you bend a bit but you get the hang of it. The app is also super helpful! All in all, would buy again and again and again!!

In the control/ home page I would like to see a section where the oz/mls are shown it shows total daily minutes pumped and number of pumps within that day. Some women like to have a total daily minute pumping goal so that would be very helpful.

The app is handy. Amount pumped can be inaccurate but still definitely easier to use the app than to not use it. I really need the app to be Apple Watch compatible though.

Have to close out of the app MULTIPLE times in order for it to connect to my pump. It will also lose connection mid pump when i haven’t moved and the pump is so close to my phone. It also repeatedly will say the bottle is full and stop pumping when the bottle isn’t even close to being full. It will do this the entirety of the rest of the time i’m pumping and I have to keep pressing play.

I was really excited to track my pumping/supply over time, learn patterns, and work toward boosting supply to keep my little one nourished. Everything is up to date but the Insights stopped working in May, and say it requires at least 4 weeks of data (there is 6 months of sessions in my log). So the app? Eh. Love the Stride, it has worked really well for me.

Love my Elvie! Having free hands while pumping has been a game changer !

I used a plug in pump but I use this one so much more. This one seems to get more milk, is portable, and doesn’t rip my skin up. Super happy a friend recommended it.

Loved the app at first but it started crashing every time I tried to connect my Elvie pump. It’s so frustrating that I can’t m even get the app to stay open any longer.

Easy to control but volume tracker is always way off.
