Crashes every session, slow load time
Un-usable app. Crashes everytime 30seconds after I open the app. Very slow loading document. I would never use it if not forced by my employer

App doesn’t really work. Have to keep quitting app to regain ability to comment. App hangs and crashes and has to be reinstalled. Basically unusable for anything beyond getting push notifications to your phone telling you about comments.
Used to keep sessions for maybe a month. Now every day you need to manually reenter your email and login again
Always need to type in my work email to sign in. Why can’t Quip remember who I am for longer than 20 minutes I don’t know.
Cannot switch sheet tabs
Have been using quip for work. On my laptop I have preferred to use the browser version. But got the app on my phone for easier readability. The app is very inconsistent. Randomly there will be periods where the app crashes within a minute of opening it, and will keep happening. I had to uninstall it and move to the browser version. Then thought of giving the app another shot and the same thing started happening after few months of use. Emailing support@quip had no response.
Constantly crashes after 20-30 secs of having it open.
I wrote a very critical review of this app over a year ago, and everything in that review is still true. Every day I use this app (and I do use it many times every day as part of my job) I am left in awe of just how bad it is.
UPDATE 9/16/24: App still crashes randomly, often doing basic things like searching for names to add to a doc. ORIGINAL: My company is (likely) the largest enterprise customer of Quip. I use it every day extensively on both web and mobile. However the iOS app has reached its limits — lots of random blank screens, slowness, weird UI issues and whatnot, which don’t happen on the web client. By the way, I have the latest iPhone with maxed stats (15 Pro Max or whatever it’s called). Time to create a native iOS app, IMO.
You should be embarrassed!
