I paid 68 dollars for a 12 dollar ticket. Did not realize until I got to the train station.

Buyer Beware!!!!

This should be illegal. I paid 23 euros for a 3.65 euro ticket, thinking perhaps tickets were short, or I was too close to travel time. Even the Portuguese train assistant shook his head in disgust. I’ll be deleting this app, and hope others will not fall prey as I did. (ps, the train was only at half capacity!)

Don’t use this service

We paid for the tickets months ahead of time and my friend had to stand the whole way, and pay again, because this service did not provide the confirmations.

I love the application. Easy to use and very self explanatory. When mistakes done very easy to resolve. Excellent customer service.

Super easy to use and really quick in getting your tickets issued.

Scam Company!!!

Wait until you get to the train station and buy directly or go directly to the train provider apps and book directly. They wait too late to get any quality seats for groups (even two people) and their app is so outdated. We use Trainline and Omni across most of EU, but Nordic areas not able to - but will never use Rail Ninja ever again.

Enormous price hike for worse service. With no refund available

I bought train tickets from Porto to Lisbon through rail ninja. Rail ninja doubled the price of the train provider and I can only get a refund for the actual price of the tickets, the markup fees are nonrefundable. This company will take advantage of foreigners who don’t know better. After finding out, I bought a ticket from Portimão to Porto, first class, that was less than half the economy class ticket on rail ninja. Don’t use these guys

Beware 50% Up-charge on Every Ticket

Do not buy from this app the charge you 50% of the ticket when you can just buy them from the train operator! A complete scam.
