Rain Bird

I want to log in and easily see when the next irrigation is scheduled. The “Next Irrigation” box on the dashboard just says “there are no more irrigation events scheduled today”. That’s not what “next irrigation” means. Show me the date and details of the NEXT IRRIGATION like the box is labeled, whatever date that may be. There’s a second chance to present that information just below the programs listed on the dashboard but they fail again: half the time it says “not scheduled” despite clearly being there in the calendar. When it does show that an event is scheduled it just gives you the day of the week and the time. I have a program that’s supposed to run every 14 days, so “Thursday at 7:30pm” could be tomorrow or it could be a week after tomorrow. Put the date in there, and fix the bugs that keep it from inaccurately showing not scheduled when it is scheduled. I got this thing because I travel a lot and it adds piece of mind to monitor and adjust remotely if I have to. This is all made worse by the fact that when the controller loses internet for whatever reason (usually not the controller’s fault, sometimes internet outages occur) the controller will not automatically reconnect to the network when internet returns! It basically invalidates all peace of mind that having a remotely controllable irrigation system is supposed to offer.

How do I reset the password?

Just installed the new Rain Bird controller which replaced the old one. This new controller is so easy to use and has a great selection of watering options.

Used to use an app called Sky Drop. They went out of business and unfortunately I’m using the rain bird app now. It doesn’t stay connected, is very slow, doesn’t give you the option to run a daily program off schedule…it’s just a pain to use.

I get to “waiting for response from controller” and then it errors out. I have had intermittent access before, but this has been going on for 3 weeks. Is there a fix?

App won’t connect to control module half the time, and now is showing the wrong date even though the control module is right… force closed the app and reopened several time and it still does same thing

I can not turn it off or on with my phone. I can’t figure out how to change stations. I am trying to just use the box and forget the power

The app does not display how much water is used, merely how many minutes of water was used. Useless!

Sad to say but the app needs MAJOR UPDATES/CHANGES. Not user friendly.

I’m frequently having connection issues. My WiFi is strong but the controller regularly gives me the error message that it can’t connect. App is slow to do anything.
