too much nonsense ads
i get the ideal watching ads for undo, but what the f why after every single match i have to watch an ad, and worst of all why after i watch an ad i get nothing? even when i press the +5 undo it doesn’t give me anything

Chess is one of those games I always wished I enjoyed, but its commitment to beauty, elegance, and perfect balance always turned me away. Really Bad Chess removes these boring restrictions and flips chess on its head.
As much as random pieces change the game in some ways, I was really surprised to notice how much the game remains the same, and how powerful some pieces are — you've never truly struggled against a pawn until you've struggled against a pawn in the back row.
For chess pros, Really Bad Chess will give you a new type of challenge — the pieces & the moves are the same, but you'll have to throw out your openings and your understanding of normal patterns of play.
For novice chess players (like most of us), Really Bad Chess greatly opens up the game. Instead of starting by studying openings, in your first games you'll get to discover the joy (and challenge!) of learning how to checkmate.
I hope you have as much fun with Really Bad Chess as much as I did making it.

This game is fun to play when you’re bored, but if you want to learn how to play or improve, it isn’t the best to do so. I want to improve my chess skills, but unfortunately this app isn’t the one for me.
Cannot restore data
There is no backup data or whatever and all progress is lost after changing phone

It’s really fun but as it says in the title, it is REALLY bad. In the early stages of ranked, all the computer does is blunder to lift up your rank. I made it to rank 55 yes very low still but midst the game, the computer literally froze and wont evaluate it’s next move. I’ve been waiting for almost 10 minute and the bar wouldnt improve. Undid my move played another, still wouldnt move its pieces. This is where my journey ends :’)
Great concept but can be improved
The concept is great to prevent people from memorizing topical lines and openings, but some features such as threefold repetition needs to be added to the game or it may be impossible to draw the drawn position, also as a traditional chess player i find it difficult at first to locate the pieces, but got used to it :)
O-sum
It's an awesome idea, and plays out really well. Though there are some issues which need to be addressed, like repeated AI moves and the absence of a draw when checkmate is impossible, it's still an o-sum game~

Rules
Games really great. Fun. Smart. Predictable though. Another thing is that. I ended up with two kings left on the table supposed to end with a draw but apparently it keeps playing on. Gotta fix that.

Try Apple Arcade Version
Great idea abominably executed. Not clear if the paid version gets rid of ads. Ads are very, very poorly produced on top of being intrusive. The menu structure seems deliberately annoying.
