RecipeBox - Save Your Recipes!

I have been using this app for years though it is only recently that I have had issues. Major issue is after saving a recipe and going back to view it, I realized that some specified amounts for the ingredients were incorrect, eg. 1 tbsp oil in app while it was 2 tbsp in original recipe. Another recipe I tried while using in the app clearly left out some ingredients altogether. I went to the original recipe and it had ingredients for the sauce, which were not specified in the recipe saved in the app. As I clearly cannot trust the app to save a recipe, I’m afraid I can no longer use the app. Unfortunate, as this was my go-to app for cooking.

This app is great but there’s a glitch that won’t allow me to make any changes. Adding recipes to new categories, doesn’t work. Changing instructions or ingredients, doesn’t work. If this was fixed, I’d give it 5 stars.

Really love the app. The UX is friendly and does what I need it to do. One request would be to add a “scale” feature that I’ve seen in other recipe apps. This would allow you to scale down or up the recipe to fit your needs / number of people to feed.

This app is amazing!!! Everything from creating recipes to finding new ones, to finding one online and using the extension to save it, works beautifully I’ve already sent them an idea of the only feature more that I would love which is a calendar to put meals on and send notifications when I should start prep time but this app has everything you could want/need

Pop up ads so annoying can’t read recipes.

This has made dinner planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and everything in between so much easier! Can’t say enough good things about this app! If you struggle to find that recipe you loved online again or quickly planning meals and a shopping list, this app will be incredibly helpful for you!

Still experiencing issues with half of my recipes not showing up in the app despite it suggesting otherwise when sending an internet link to the app. Of the recipes that do end up making, about a quarter of them don’t load correctly - so title, pictures, ingredients don’t populate and attempts to correct the issue are unsuccessful. I Amy be able to update the title and/or photo, but copying and pasting ingredients or instructions causes the app to glitch out and not save anything. Definitely a lot more work and too many recipes falling through the cracks. Most of the recipes I’m “syncing” end up disappearing and the developers don’t seem inclined to respond to emails and correcting the issue. I don’t need access to other people’s recipes or to be able to have the grocery list functionality. I need this app to work as promised when I purchased and this app can’t even perform that basic function and I am required to use another app to save recipes so thanks for nothing. Too many recipes keep disappearing…

I love the idea of this app. But for some reason it heats my phone up like a toaster. I have an iPhone 16 Pro and there isn’t a single app on my phone that heats up my phone like this app. Please review this and fix the issue as I love the idea of this app and want to use it without my hands falling off.

The creators seriously thought of everything. I can copy and paste the link to the app, or I can add it directly from a website using the extension. It loads all the ingredients and information necessary to cook it you can shop the ingredients straight from the app, you can even share the recipe with someone without them needing the app to open it.

I got this app to save recipes I find on Facebook. It saved the first three recipes I sent — and then nothing after that! I have followed all the instructions. It did it three times with no problem. I don’t know why it won’t continue.
