RecipeBox - Save Your Recipes!

I love this app! I’m able to put all my fav recipes in one place, make the grocery list and meal plan effectively!

I have had this app for many years and loved it. I’m not sure which version I had but it was very simple and there were not as many colors, and when you added the ingredients it was a free text screen. The instructions were not split into steps with the added green. Scrolling through my recipes it was one recipe per row and not two. I finally updated this app since it wouldn’t let me add new recipes, and I have to say it ruined my day. It’s awful, and I will no longer be using this app I cannot stand the way it looks now. I’m sad because this app used to bring me a lot of joy.

I love the concept but my recipes will not stay in the categories. They keep reverting back to uncategorized. I will be searching for something else.

This would be an amazing app. You have thought of everything, but when I categorized and fixed all the pictures and closed the uncategorized with only 4 left to do, I went back twice and all of them were back - All 96 of them. If I am mistaken I will gladly give you a five star! Because its really a great idea.

Love how it brings the recipe in with no ads and big letters so I can read it!! ❤️

Still experiencing issues with half of my recipes not showing up in the app despite it suggesting otherwise when sending an internet link to the app. Of the recipes that do end up making, about a quarter of them don’t load correctly - so title, pictures, ingredients don’t populate and attempts to correct the issue are unsuccessful. I Amy be able to update the title and/or photo, but copying and pasting ingredients or instructions causes the app to glitch out and not save anything. Definitely a lot more work and too many recipes falling through the cracks.

Changed my life forever, love the App

This Recipe app is incredible. I love how I can get a recipe from whoever I want and I put it in here. It’s super easy to use and I recommend to everyone that is looking for a recipe keeper app

Many issues seem to have been addressed. Edits are easy and easy to save. The “just show me the recipe” button allows you to see the recipe just as it would appear in Recipe Box and cuts through the fluff and other bloat. Love that. Many thanks. Former critique w/1 star (no longer valid)… …RecipeBox went from my favorite app to almost useless with this latest version. When will I learn not to update apps that work perfectly. The ‘my recipes’ page view has shrunk each photo down to a thumbnail by offering a ‘add to list’ option button to each photo on that page view. Poor choice. How about a button on the top margine that, globally, lets the user select several at once? Like every email app out there. Editing a recipe used to be a breeze, now, it’s harder than ever. And once you’ve made changes, the edit save button disappears. Even ‘cancel edit button’ is a fail. One has to close the app to cancel a recipe edit. The Discovery recipe search, once more powerful than any search engine results, has been modified poorly. The resulting search page recipe photos have been shrunk to thumbnails thanks to a ‘save recipe’ button being imbedded into each photo on the page. Who saves a recipe after just glancing at a photo? It used to be that you clicked on a recipe, look it over, and there at the top of the page was the save recipe button. That made too much sense. Are app developers getting paid by the change these days? I bragged about this app for years to any friends who had an interest in cooking. Now, regrettably, I may have to move on.

I used to adore this app until an update altered its functionality. Previously, when you copied and pasted a URL, it would automatically open the corresponding recipe. Now, it no longer does that, forcing you to search for it amidst numerous similar recipes. The user experience urgently requires improvement!
