If you’re a landlord, you’re going to hate this software, especially if you’re doing renovations and need funding.
It takes 7+ days from the day your tenant pays rent, to the day it finally hits your account. 1/4 of the month they hold your money.
If the tenant spends the money in their account that was allocated towards rent, RentRedi will send you an “insufficient funds notice” because the tenant didn’t hold the money in they account for a quarter of the month.
This is happening to me every month. I suggest trying a different software.
Best rental software
I don’t know why I didn’t use RentRedi earlier. The customer support on chat is simply amazing. I’m not computer literate and they made it soooo easy. Best ever.
Used this with zero experience as a renter
There definitely will be some learning to do as you start using, however the customer care is amazingly good and super fast in responding.
I wish the integration to Zillow was included in the regular pricing with more seamless integration.
Rent Redi
Not quite as intuitive as I would like..However, thru chat and over the phone I have been able to get all my questions answered
So far so good.
I have been using RentRedi for a couple months and a couple properties. Everything has been very easy to use and when I have had questions about how to use the tools the customer service team has been very prompt to help me figure it all out. It’s an excellent service for a small landlord.
App will not work with Google account
I initially made our account online using our Google account. Well, there’s an issue with the app and you can’t use your Google account to sign in. We’ve had our account for 5 months and the issue hasn’t been fixed. When I reached out to the support desk, they told me how to reset my password so I could use email and password to login. I feel like debugging the app should be the priority instead of giving me a work around. At a minimum, remove the option to create an account with Google if it’s not supported by the app.
Cannot use app
I signed up through my gmail account and the app keeps advising I cannot sign up via that method although I’m trying to sign in. I work in digital technology and have troubleshot many ways, including deleting and reinstalling.
Stick with the web version
Rent Redi has held my rental listing hostage!
Last year this time I created a rental listing through Zillow. The process was extremely easy and user friendly. After finding a tenant I discovered Zillow also offers tenant screening and lease preparation. I used everything Zillow offered with no problems.
I don't remember how I came to learn about RentRedi but it looked like a tool I could use for rent payment, repair request, ect. After a few months I decided the app wasn't for me. We had everything set in place the app was offering without incident.
Fast forward to this year. Our current tenant is ready to move out. I hop on Zillow to re-list and I get an error message the I have to re-list through RentRedi. I don't even have a current account with them. I never listed with them to begin with. I never used one feature on the app.
VERY long story short! The only way I was able to re-list through Zillow was to resubscribe to RentRedi. Why do they own rights to my listing?
I also decided to give the site a try since I had to pay for it anyway. It's so hard to navigate. So many "features" but they don't even offer lease templates or generators.
After a phone call and a few emails I still don't have an answer how to cancel my subscription and delete my data from their site. I don't want to use this program why can they dictate how I list my rental property? Seems wrong
So convenient and easy!
Our team loves using RentRedi for property management. I’m so glad we went ahead and paid for its services. It removed a lot of hassle, and I know our tenants like it too. 😊 We’ve been using it since 2020.
Works if you have perfect tenants
If all your tenants pay their rent on time and never bounce a check it’s great. But if anything goes off the rails making sense of what is actually going on, what you’ve been paid and what they owe, is nearly impossible with this app. Navigating the various menus and submenus is challenging. Tenants do like it. The support is good. So it’s frustrating at times but I don’t know of anything better.
