What a shame
I used to love Replit when it was free. I understand good things don't last but come on, paying this much for a year's subscription or be limited to three Replit projects? That's too limiting - and too expensive. I hope they can find a middle ground so they don't loose all of their customers.
Just a little complicated
The menus are a little complicated but I can get used to it
beautiful app
finally some decent app
Not for iPad
The interface on iPad is very bad. As soon as you want to ask something, the software keyboard blocks the entire writing area, so you have to guess where in the text you are. Also, it doesn’t work in portrait mode.
The text area only allows 500 characters. This means you cannot write longer instructions and provide code examples without hitting the limit.
On both iPhone and iPad , you cannot write multi line texts. When you tap return the text is sent and the robot gives a random answer.
Split screen is not implemented which means that you cannot have Replit alongside a code editor or browser window.
I will not extend my subscription on Replit. The hype described it as something else.
Not made for iPad
Was super excited when I found Replit and installed it on my phone (to test). Was hoping there was an equally good iPad version. Unfortunatelly the iPad version is just a clone of the iOS/phone version, so you are locked in to the small screen format of the phone version.
فلوس!
ماتقدر تسوي اكثر من ثلاث ملفات بعدين يطلبون فلوس شذذذذا اقيم سالب لو في صفر قيمته صفر
Terrible and getting worse.
I’ve tried to love Replit, I really have… I’ve fallen back into the trap like 3 times whenever a new subscription discount comes out. But it’s time for me to finally admit that it’s trash. I feel like the AI is actually regressing at this point, and the pricing structure is a cash grab. You are SO much better off spending your money on Cursor or Windsurf. Actually, I think you’d spend less, AND you’d get a usable product.
An Excellent Tool for Online Development with Room for Improvement
Replit is a powerful and versatile tool for online coding that enables teamwork, supports multiple programming languages, and allows you to run projects without installing additional software. Its standout features include a simple user interface, real-time collaboration, and accessibility from any device.
Horrible app avoid! Doesn’t work💯🙏
This app seems like it would be good and at first it is even though you can only create 3 replits or else you have to pay, but the real issue is how insanely slow the app is it’s to a point that the app at most times is unusable, you click it 30 times nothing still happens, the app will crash, ur project will just start reloading and never open again, it’s a horrible mess and I’m using one of the newest iPhones out so it’s not my device. Either they fix their app or it’s doomed to fail. So so so horrible unable to use at all just stressing if anything
