Revel: All-Electric Rides

This is the first review I’ve ever made of anything in life, it’s a rainy New Year’s Day so you know rides are expensive so I wanted to take advantage of some sales as a new rider. I made the purchase ride IMMEDIATELY cancelled and put through as if I took the ride. NO WAY TO CALL THEM. You can only get through to support through email or text.

This company should fail miserably and asap. Wait time is never less than 15 minutes, and the time always changes. When you earned credits, they make your life especially miserable until they expire. Please fail asap.

Great app but on scheduled pickup a day+ in advance (at a great reduced price) when close to the pick up time my ride was canceled. When I put in a request for a pickup at the time my ride was canceled there are cars available at a higher prices of course. Last 2 times it happened I was offered a discount on the next ride. Today when it happened, only message I received was I would not be charged for the ride. A

Super disappointing- they promised a 70% discount to sign up and when I tried to book a ride that cost $49.78 it discounted to $37.78. That's clearly not 70% - and in the app it changed the promo to "70% discount applied, up to $10" Like what??!!!

Referral code gave me 70% off first ride but the max discount is $9. Are you serious? Why not just have the promo be $9 off next ride. To offer 70% off is a bait and switch. How dumb do you think people are? Go out of business already. Joke of a service trying to compete with uber and Lyft.

Got matched with a driver. Said it would be a 25 minute wait when it was advertised as 5-10 before booking. Driver cancelled and no other drivers available

Does not show the extra $10 in fees it seems to be charging when you first see the price. Super unfair and rip off.

My driver was late for my airport trip, and kept his phone with directions on the floor so he had to keep taking his eyes off of the road. When we arrived I was charged an additional 40% which I did not authorize. This app is a scam, do not download it.

Just stay away from this app. Stuck with uber or Lyft. Not only will you wait over 20 minutes for a ride but they’ll steal your money. Just report them to the BBB.

I was scammed by my driver and revel has refused to fix the problem for almost 2 weeks now. Revel charged me $27.75 for a “pickup wait time fee” of 37 minutes which was because the driver did not click on the app that he had picked me up. I informed them immediately once I received my bill on the day of the incident, revel did nothing and then proceeded to charge me the wrong amount. Now 2 text messages and 2 emails later, I continue to wait for them to resolve their mistake. Preposterous.
