I’m trying to message someone. It says they require verification badges, which I have, and it says I’ve completed. But I can’t message them. You haven’t answered my supposed request. I could probably have an apartment already if this wasn’t taking so long. To add insult to injury, I’ve been charged again. Even though it’s not working. Will you fix this?

I actually got matched with someone who tried to steal my identity lol many of the listings are fake and customer service doesn’t exist

The app is no longer a good option anymore. It’s sad how it used to be a lot more traffic and now isn’t good. It more like people don’t rely on the app to search for a place. Also, the app seems to be disorganized and asking for help is a hassle. It kinda makes me feel more upset and sad that this app isn’t reliable anymore. I’m not sure if the developers just gave up on this. I guess the good times are gone for roomi

This use to be the best app to find a roommate, now I can’t chat with anyone and even if I boost and pay to get some type of recognition, still nothing. Please go back to what it was before.

This app will charge you unnecessarily for ID verification and then kick you off the app when you skip it. They have a bunch of bots on there saying there max rent is 1 dollar with photos of creeps and AI generated places. Don’t fall for it look somewhere else.

No different than Craigslist or Facebook market place… This worked pretty good a few years back, now it’s trash. I’m also having problems unsubscribing!! As if the creators of the apps make a living scamming their clients who go the extra step to find legit roommates/landlords.

Wow, this app just does not work. I couldn’t even get through the sign up process. There were glitches all along the way, and then you have to verify your email to continue, and I’ve tried getting it to send the code several times, but I have yet to get an email. I’m guessing in a day or two my inbox will filled with expired codes. I did find that I could kinda use the app without verifying, but tapping on profiles doesn’t do anything. It’s also very, very, very confusing as to how to list a room vs how to list a person looking for a room. I can tell by profiles that I’m seeing that either everyone is confused, or the interface is just really confusing (or both). This app is just their EXTREMELY slow website shoved into an app, so don’t even bother with this app, since it’s broken anyway, and just go to roomiapp.com. But even then, expect to be frustrated and confused.

The whole app works as if it was made by a high schooler and it keeps crashing. I would’ve been ok with it if at least the content was fine but NO! First of all you want me to pay $20 per week to text people and then never check them if they’re real or not?! I had to flag two people in one day because they were scammers. I guess they’re ok because roomi itself is a scammer.

I used the same listings for the past couple of years on Roomi and I thought it to be an incredibly reliable app. I download about a week ago and now my listing deactivated and I get no reason as to why. We need better customer support and less glitch. This is making the roommate search much harder than it needs to be.
