Without mobile control over the HIFI rose device it’s worthless And this app is worthless If I wasn’t running my tv through passive speakers via the HIFI rose I would take out a sledgehammer and smash it to bits ( tell us how you really feel)
Please give us the option for tidal connect. Love my rose but really don’t like the app. We spent a lot of money on these devices, give us the options we need to be happy.

Having these new issues with a slow app, and automatically being logged out of quboz. Very annoying.
The RS150B is a real work of art, and it works extremely well. If this had the same app as the Eversolo DMP-A6 it would justify the fairly high price tag. Instead, the app is total garbage. It’s in broken English, which at this point is unforgivable. Apple Music is mostly in Korean language in any playlist, and it seems to default to Korean music no matter what the settings are when looking for new music. Tidal isn’t as bad, but it’s not great. Any music you add when discovering has to go to a Rose playlist, so you can’t add to or edit existing playlists. So, it’s good if you are using it as a Roon endpoint, but there are a lot of other options that have a better value prop for that. Apple Music is only truly usable via Airplay, which again, there are a LOT of other options. My guess is that they locked themselves into an OLD heavily customized version of Android and are unable to fix the situation.
I feel like the only things the HiFi Rose products have going for them are looks. Their app is mediocre! Not enough time/effort/dedication put into this app.. which is ridiculous considering I paid 5 grand on one of their products. Needless to say this is the first and last product I’m buying from them. DO US ALL A FAVOR AND HIRE SOMEONE THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO WORK ON THE USER INTERFACE!!!
The app crashes constantly on my iPhone 14 pro IOS 16.4. My dealer does not have an answer and Apple care was no help. The Rose 250a audio is wonderful when it worked. But if the software problem is not corrected fast I am taking it back.
The IPad app is small button, difficult to navigate and slow to respond.
This has got to be the worst implementation of organizing a music library I’ve ever seen. It’s almost impossible to find specific albums or artist because there’s no way to put them in alphabetical order. Because of the poor UI I’m forced to spend extra on Roon. I’m hoping this gets fixed soon.
