I have 5 of these units in different properties that we own and they’ve all recently become “disconnected” and say that the firmware needs to be updated. When I run the update it isn’t successful. I depend on these units to create an impression on our guests but I’ve found that when the units is disconnected it stops running. I’m not sure what the problem is but it’s extremely disappointing.

Tried updating firmware and it just sat there attempting to update it for hours. I came back and tried to see if I was disconnected from wifi but that wasn’t the issue. Then I tried to turn my display sleep mode off so that the screen wouldn’t go to sleep while “updating” then I closed then re opened the app and tried updating the firmware again, but it still never updated. This thing is janky sometimes. Sadly

Absolutely useless app. This app is only good to turn off, on and modify scent intensity at a distance. I mad a schedule following instructions to no avail it stays on one level no matter what the schedule. Also can’t connect to Amazon.

Agree with other reviewers: please create an option to toggle the fan off and on without creating a schedule. Additionally, would be nice to be able to turn off the garish lights.

The ScentAir product line is wonderful but the app is horrible. The customer service people keep saying it’s going to be updated and they are aware of issues but yet it’s still not update. Very disappointing performance for the money.

The machine this app is supposed to work with runs completely fine by itself without the app. The problems: 1. the device either never turns on when it’s supposed to be on schedule or the device never stops running even when it is off schedule. 2. The device NEEDS a schedule in order to operate. You cannot manually turn the device on and off at the push of a button on the app without a schedule. This is highly unintuitive. 3. Sometimes when the device is on schedule and it is not running and you press the “play” button on the app, it will simply ignore the command and return to a paused state. These are just the problems I’ve experienced in the 2 weeks I’ve been using the app. While I like the ScentAir Home and the scents that come with it, I got it for the compatibility with the app and the ability to create schedules…which leaves much to be desired. The device is VERY expensive but unfortunately it seems ScentAir skimped on the programming/software. This is not an issue with the hardware. This problem has occurred across 4 devices I have been provided as an exchange.

The Bluetooth app makes it so to change my system settings if I need to turn it up or down! I haven’t tried connecting it to WIFI yet but the BT even lets me schedule events at different scent volumes too.

Spent over $340 for this machine and 3 scents and when received, the first thing I noticed was the box it came was completely destroyed. The machine doesn’t have an On and Off button and I am not impressive by the scents. Bath and Body Works have better scents. Will be returning the whole thing.

Just received the unit, and it turns off randomly regardless of the schedule. It also randomly just turns on. I plugged it into a Wi-Fi plug and control its schedule thru the plug. I know the plug will work as I have used several for years. This is very,very disappointing.

As other reviewer‘s have noted it would be awesome if you could turn the unit on and off manually without having to manipulate the schedule…. Such an easy fix it’s unfathomable that this has skipped by the app developers intentions
